I don't know, probably ask a lawyer on that one. It may be legally possible to do a posthumous trial, but this doesn't seem like that sort of case. Civil suits make sense after death of the offender because you're suing for their money/stuff. Just because it gets inherited by somebody else doesn't mean you aren't entitled to be compensated out of that chunk of money/stuff.

The motive for powerful people to murder Epstein was so obvious that pretty much everyone predicted a specific event, which has now come to pass: Epstein would die before testifying. I don't think the idea that Epstein was murdered is itself any kind of CT.

It gets complicated immediately when people try to start pointing out suspects. The left knows it was Trump or Putin on Trump's behalf, while the right knows it was Hillary. But there were a lot of extremely wealthy and powerful guys banging Epstein's sex slaves. Could have been anyone.
