Again, I'm about 50 and don't know how it works now, but suicide watch meant you didn't have your regular clothes 30 years ago. Naked in a special cell with a blanket that was designed not to be able to be used to hang yourself due to its physical properties. I don't remember what those were, but it was a different blanket than they used normally.

If someone ordered him off suicide watch already after an attempt, they should probably look into that person, I'd say.
