EU doesn't have the power to cancel another nations elections (if they did, they would long have gotten rid of russian puppet Orban) - this was all on Romanias justice system.

Romanian prosecutors said Wednesday they had opened a criminal investigation into Calin Georgescu, the far-right front-runner in last year's annulled presidential election. Georgescu was taken in for questioning by prosecutors earlier in the day.

After questioning the politician for several hours, prosecutors said they were formally investigating him on charges of forming an antisemitic organization, promoting war criminals and fascist organizations, illegal possession of weapons, and spreading false information regarding the sources of financing of an electoral campaign.

The balls on the right to tell this lie… no one on the left wants it to perpetuate. Everyone would be plenty happy if Russia picked up and left. What we don’t want is another unfavorable treaty signed for Ukraine for Russia to just come and invade again 10 years from now when they feel good and ready. You know, like they did last time.

They didn't back Ukraine properly, they gave them just enough to stop the country from being overrun, if they'd actually put in the required amount of weapons and didn't tie the Ukrainians hands behind their backs, this war would've certainly have looked different, it certainly looked like the left was interested in this war being dragged out by their own actions......

First, it’s not “the left” what you mean is the Biden administration. Plenty of people and politicians on the left disagreed with the way we sent support.

Second, It only looks that way because you’re taking it out of the context of the time it was happening. The Biden administration didn’t withhold aid because they wanted the war to drag, they did it because they were scared of Russia. If you followed the war, you’ll remember that Russia kept threatening to escalate the war if lines were crossed. The Biden admin realized over time that it was all bluster and kept pushing that line back. I don’t agree with the way it was done but you’re characterization of their motivation is wrong.
