Russian wages are up because they are paying insane wages to soldiers at the moment. It’s not like they suddenly are inventing new technology and creating these amazing high paying jobs. They are throwing money at young and middle aged men to go to war to die. That’s it. Nothing about that indicates any semblance of lasting economic success.
