But there is some beauty to that! Old lions die.
Great fight! My heart says Jan but my brain Carlos.

Hope Ulberg takes it. I think in any normal LHW division would've retired. Alex has cleared it out so bad he might get a rematch.

How is Ulberg's TDD? I have a feeling Jan is going to want to wrestle.

I hope Jan’s got one left in the tank. Ulberg is a douche, good kickboxing but tends to run when he’s up on the cards. He’s like a temu Adesanya, no suprise that he’s a training partner too.

I don't like this fight for Ulberg, but we'll what happens.

Should be a good fight, sad to see one of them lose. I like Jan and don't want him to be a highlight coming off a long layoff and terrible surgery, but I don't want Carlos' momentum abruptly halted as LHW needs as much fresh blood as possible.

I think Ulberg takes it by a later TKO with Jan looking slow coming off the layoff.

Just picking jan based on the odds

Wow Ulberg is a big favorite at -300, didn't expect that even with Jan's advanced age, because I think he's a higher class of fighter. That makes me think Vegas knows something and Jan is really diminished from his injuries as well.

If Ulberg loses it's ok because he's the new Erick Silva, 35 year old prospect with plenty of time to get more experience under his belt.

I'm happy to see ulberg fight, but not too happy it's against Jan. If Jan wins do we see another rematch with Alex? Sheesh.
If ulberg wins do you give him a title fight? or a title eliminator?

Have a feeling this is the fight Jan looks his age

I very much have this feeling, he's off ANOTHER operation on his shoulder, This guy Ulberg is young coming in to his own and entering his prime as a fighter. It'd be wild if Jan some how won.

It's cuz he had a long layoff and he's old

Odds have been out of wack recently tho such as Chandler being the underdog against Paddy

Yeah I'm surprised Ulberg is so favoured, I'd say Jan's gameplan should be similar to how he fought against Izzy.

Jan hasn't had much respect from oddsmakers in the past, I've won on him a few times as a dog in the past, might have a go again.

Jan might still be excessively hard to beat, but he hasn't fought for 2 years near enough.

I'm not overly hung up '42' as a number given we haven't seen Jan get cracked, either he walks through Ulberg's offence and causes him nightmarish problems in other aspects of the fight, or he'll just look really slow and sad.

I don't know which way it's going to go. I can see him winning, and I can see him looking pretty awful if he can't close that distance.

Yeah I think it's a pick em fight too, which is why it's worth betting on Jan IMO

Even if Ulberg loses it won't really halt his momentum. They'll just have him fight Rakic and if he wins that he'll be immediately in title talks. When the UFC really wants someone at the top of the rankings (which they do for Ulberg) they will do everything in their power to make it happen.
