I totally disagree. I had zero hype for this and I was actually incredibly intrigued. Gunn is sure to make another fun, exciting and heartfelt hit with this. This is the first Superman I’m actually interested in seeing.

I don't give a shit about Superman at all, but Gunn has been putting out thicc, solid, tight work for years now.

This might be the first DC movie worth taking the kids to the theatre for.

Digging the look and feel of it. It is bright, and has the look of a certain age of Superman, where it is almost this grandiose yet "empty" feel to the sets shown, which reminds me of those Superman comics.

Doing a horrible job at describing it, but it is more of the feel of it all. I will certainly be watching it in theatres, and not even a huge fan of Supes.

What @SaiWa said. Gunn seems to be proudly embracing a lot of the Superman mythology from the comic book - Krypto, Fortress of Solitude, Jimmy Olsen, etc.
He is. At worst he's still going to churn out better than Synder at least . His final GOTG was the best non Spiderman post EG movie....... maybe the only one any good. Also Mrs. Masiel as Lois will be interesting.

I might be minority here but I thought the 2nd Suicide squad film was decent or at least fun - same for his Peacekeeper.

Marvel is dead digging up RDJ to play Doom isn't changing that. That doesn't mean comics movies are dead and DC has most iconic characters. If done right could be as big as Marvel 2010-20

Watched the teaser again and I'm liking it the more I see it. The electric guitar riff on the John Williams score is still awesome. Very Top Gun-esque, which Gunn said was one of his inspirations for the movie. One thing I noticed is the whistle can be heard two more times and it's just a subtle genius touch by Gunn saying he's going to take Superman home after his mischaracterization in the depressing Snyder era. There's only three lines in the teaser and "Home. Take me home." line from a bloodied and battered Superman is very emotional and allegorical.

Feel like there are too many shots rehashed from previous films. Mix it up a bit. The other DC heroes is a nice touch, though.

Don't think I've hated a trailer as much as I hate this one. They are making a bubble gum superman movie and they should go to hell.

Looks like Disney Superman for kids. Over saturated cartoony colors. Goofy looking characters.

Hard pass.

There were bits of Man Of Steel I liked. Otherwise, the first 2 Christopher Reeve Superman flicks are still the best. By the looks of it, itll remain that way for a while, until someone has the guts to really take that character somewhere else.

He has a dog now? And its strong?

Krypto is not new in the comic book world. Was created in the 50s. Several versions of him have come and gone. Should be his first appearance in a movie. the one I am familiar with is a lot bigger.

Don’t you just love when people bitch and moan about stuff without bothering to check that it has been around since before my parents were old enough for kindergarten?

have you ever read a Superman comic in your life lol

I have. Injustice, Red Son, Brainiac and Earth One are my favorites storylines. Even Reign Of and Dark Knight Falls but that's already been covered in films

But no one is stopping you from enjoying James Gunn's presents Super Friends!

Man I just don't care anymore. I guess I really grew out of this genre. I loved Man of Steel but that was also when I was much more into this kind of stuff. I still think they are making the mistake of trying to make a big universe. There's way too much shit in this trailer. I don't know how they are going to tell a compelling story while introducing so many people. Also, I dislike showing the dog in that scene. Would have been cool for people to see that for the first time in the theater.

Not a fan of Superman being cut and bleeding. Unless the badguy is using kryptonite, there's something to do with a red sun, or Doomsday and/or Darkseid are around, it's just not something Superman usually does. So seeing it happen in the trailer right off the bat got a gigantic *groan* from me.

Otherwise, it looked alright.
