Ngl I had no interest in this. But that trailer actually made me feel something. I couldn’t believe I didn’t roll my eyes when Kyrpto showed up and started getting teary eyed at the Superman theme.

Lex Luthor might be one of the most shittily-cast roles of all time. Even when they cast good actors, they still can't get a good villain or performance to save their studio lives ffs.

Filmgoers don't even have a "Who's the best Lex Luthor?" award, it's like the "Not-The-Worst LL" version, lmfao.

hmmmm not sure what to think - I'm not even sure that good superhero movies can be made any more. To succeed you have to have an over reliance on CGI, race relations, rainbow coloured people etc

I didn't hate it, but then Superman is still my boy - The 2 original movies are by far my favourite superhero movies. Maybe I'm just in that era where I won't be able to enjoy movies that are made for mass production - because the mass they are produced for are a wet soppy mess

The more I watched the teaser, the more I'm loving the scene where Supes is badly beat up that he had to call Krypto for help and to take him home. That's also something new and unexpected for a Superman movie.

This movie looks so incredibly bloated it’s not even funny. Way too many other heroes and the like included in this. I feel like this is gonna be way too crowded with characters and plot lines.

Hoult looks legit as Lex though. And I like Ms Maisel as Lois Lane.

Seriously you have one of the best heroes, Superman, and you cram the trailer with all these indy shitter heroes. Reeks of Batman vs Superman where they are trying to start "The universe" and throw everything in as quickly as possible instead of just making a good movie.

Krypto is not new in the comic book world. Was created in the 50s. Several versions of him have come and gone. Should be his first appearance in a movie. the one I am familiar with is a lot bigger.

Usually Gunn does good. I never liked the Synder Supes that whole universe other than 2 films were trash. This looks like potential to be really good. Honestly hasn't been a good Supes movie since 1980s Superman 2.

What @SaiWa said. Gunn seems to be proudly embracing a lot of the Superman mythology from the comic book - Krypto, Fortress of Solitude, Jimmy Olsen, etc.
