Cavill looked great as Supes, probably one of the few things Snyder did right so it's sad to see him leave. But the DCEU has been a hot mess and they've tried to salvage it and failed so a clean reboot is unfortunately the only solution.

Then again those Snyder cultist have been fuckin' annoying so I'm happy to see whatever sliver of hope they have for a restored Snyderverse thrown out the window and I'm really enjoying their meltdown lol.

Fuck dc. I was a huge DC fan too. Like, just stop with the reboots. I wanted to see more Cavil. Now we are going to have another origin story with a young Superman? We already had that. The #1 thing WB did 100% right was the casting of Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, & even Ben Affleck was a MUCH better fit as Batman than was expected.

With Henry Cavill gone, the DCEU is dead, practically.

I like Gina, but her acting range is about as limited as it gets. She's great in action scenes because she knows how to make it seem real without injuring stuntmen.

You could honestly create an entirely new storyline within the universe and it would still be totally fine. It’s that damn big. I would love just a simple Astartes mission as a pure action series. Cosmic Horror + Badass Weaponry + Amazing Testosterone Dialogue? Sign me up.
