Media Jamahal Hill can’t stop talking about Alex Pereira

Although there was ample time for Hill to address it, the ref dropped the ball big time. Signalled for time, that immediately halts the action, and is not resumed by the fighter themselves. It was amateur hour shit again.
1) the foul is from Hill
2) they touched gloves and resume the fight
3) Hill threw the first punch and got countered by a left hand

oppenheimer levels of copium brather. starched in 1 round. elite world class striker vs a journeyman. if they fought 10 times Alex would win 10 times. Jamahal doesn't even have a punchers chance

there’s a very good chance he knows what he’s doing and is just doing this for eyes to be on him.

It’s surprising the amount of people that will genuinely make people hate them just for the notoriety it gives them.

Definitely possible. Most of you are missing the main point here though.

When a ref signals a break, there should be no capability for either fighter to wave it off and continue. Should require an automatic restart in center after separation.

As noted, twice now, Hill did in fact have ample time to address the awkward stoppage, with an attempted glove touch and a thrown punch of his own. But that's irrelevant. Another ref blunder that overshadows a finish.
It should be up to the fighter who got fouled if they want to continue. You can't reward fighters who commit fouls with a reset that benefits them. That shit would get abused if that type of standard was set.

He came back from a severe injury and got stopped in controversial fashion. It's easy to see how he could fixate on it.
There was literally nothing controversial unless it's against the unified rule to have a cast iron cock.

I can't stand Hill and have watched Poatan since his Glory days. I'm simply commenting on another example of awkward, poor refereeing.

If Jamahal can put Carlos away in impressive fashion and perhaps win another fight, he'll have people talking about him despite the protests that they won't be talking about him.

This is it for Hill. I dont think he can afford to lose this fight.

I don't. @PaddyO'malley seems like a decent enough bloke but I just can't be arsed trying to work out what he's on about. Anyone who has a 'posting style' is likely to annoy me. No offence meant, keep doing your thing, just not for me.

On topic, I used to quite like Hill but he disappeared up his own arse a while ago.

Lmao, calling it now. Dude will never be the same again.
You know he's gotten when you see !!! at the end of every sentence.
I think he'll climb back and get another title shot imo. He might lose his next fight first though. 😂
