The biggest issue is if a fighter gets rewarded by the ref like that after committing a foul with a reset, then fighters will start using that to their advantage if it suits them. If the fighter who got fouled says they're good to go that should be fine. The ref is stopping the fight to benefit the person who got fouled.

I don't disagree. I just think they need to have a blanket response to it. There's too much inconsistency in officiating.
