Jake looks so average and Tommy Fury is so bad, Mike logically has to win.

- In the end the Pauls are friends of Tyson. I respect thatMike did that to rise money for his org, to help old athletes. And also i admire a interview i aleatory saw weeks ago, he said the old Tyson is dead.

It's almost as if old fighters can't pull the trigger anymore.
Of course there is a factor that he's old, I just found it odd that he slipped punches, moved to the right position and then chose to shove or just back out of the exchange instead of throwing the counter. If this was age his counters would have been slow and ineffective, I just don't get why he went through the trouble just to not throw back.

- A 44 years old Foreman would make Tyson crumble at the first shots. Mike isnt enduring that punishment.
Mike could take a beating during his career. Blessed with a great chin, without that, he may not have even made it to Douglas. He took giant shots before that from bigger men and arguably bigger one punch hitters.

His style was made for George though, like Fraziers was.

That's not how the nervous system of old fighters work, though. They'll often see the opening but not be able to fire off a punch in the moment. Completely normal and one of the key reasons why they have no business being in the ring.
Of course you have a point, Tyson had no business being in the ring with someone in his prime.

I just thought it looked odd the way he did it, like he started his counter and then pulled it. Normally as you say they would see the opening but not be able to capitalize at all, definately not perfectly slip the punch, line up and then shove instead of punching. The hard part is really seeing the incoming punch, slipping it and moving to set up the counter. In my experience this is the first thing to go, the timing in slipping the punch.

Your not wrong I been saying this. Just odd.

On some non-sports websites the prevailing attitude has been that the the event was a cool way to help Tyson out financially, that Paul was in way paying homage to him.

Pretty sure none of them were bettors though.

- Foreman was my man-crush.

Look at this guy insulting Tyson fans and boxing fans, as if those fans were the ones who incorrectly predicted the outcome of the fight.
- You're right. Was a jerking move, to come to your guys sub-forum and insult you guys.

- Athleast the Pauls respect the sports enought to train their asses off. His brother is also dedicated to pro-wrestling.

I hate when someone from another walk of life comes, dont train and gets a spot-light for a more deserving person. You guys are lucky that you arent getting bodybuilders moving in slow-motion!

It was a real match no bs stipulations like Tyson fight. Had I known no uppercuts by Mike n a no ko rule I wouldn't of wasted time watching a glitchy netflix for fight. No wonder Jake was relaxed in lead up.

Tommy Fury is terrible. IM Sorry to say. His own half brother Tyson called the match between Tommy and jake battle of the youtubers. He doesn't even respect the mans boxing abilities.

Even the Mike Tyson who lost to Kevin Mcrbide is better than Tommy Fury. And Kevin Mcbride is better than Jake anyway.

We have some data of Mike fighting somewhat against Roy and he looked fine (which is more than enough to whoop Jakes ass). Roy looked completely useless however and I would not bet on him to beat Jake ..

Good call. Dumbass.

In all honesty, a Tyson who actually had it in him could have won this fight in a round. He does t have the killer instinct anymore, he's said sp himself.
