What about George Foreman does he beat Paul too?
Do a one-night tournament with Jake, George Foreman, Larry Holmes and Butterbean. Some people will still believe an ancient legend will beat Jake. What about George Foreman does he beat Paul too?
I posted before Belfort holyfield that holy would get clobbered, same thing here.
Hope I'm wrong.
I'd take a 180-230 lbs sherdogger with amateur experience over tyson assuming they were 24-30.
Old people do not have the reflexes to fight.
Jake will outbox Tyson to a boring decision. I think even JP has enough self awareness to realise that KO’ing a nearly 60 year old legend of the game would be a terrible look for him and won’t win him any favours in boxing circles.
Two pretty good calls back to back. Just saying! Only 1 was mine.
told y'all. This fight is beyond stupid.
Doesn't your cardio go to shit by smoking weed?
- Tyson fans are dumb, even in comparation with the average boxing fan! Can’t believe people were entertaining the idea of a 58 year old winning a professional boxing match.
- I think they took more care of themselves than Tyson
Seems like I was kind of right, that really looked like a rigged fight. No way. He has more pride than that and Jake would take so much shit
I don't understand why people think it's rigged because Jake went easy on him. He went easy because he didnt want to knock out his hero who was much older, simple as that. Tyson did not look to try to knock out Jake though...Seems like I was kind of right, that really looked like a rigged fight.
Tyson cannt handle teh jabthat's true, his highlight reel is full of guys who either shouldn't have been in with him or good fighters petrified and looking for a reason to fall. Guys like Ruddock or Carl Williams who were really known for going down alot, of course he could put them down. But guys like Pinklon Thomas, or Tyrell Biggs or even Holmes, it took him a bit of work to kayo them. I always thought his speed made him special, accuracy too and his power was really really good but honestly, that division was full of power punchers or even just guys who could hurt you, I believe it was tyson's speed, accuracy, and of course, "bad intentions". At the peak of his reign he was asked what made him different and he said "intensity" it was true. I'm sure he could still muster that up for short periods, hopefully long enough and powerful enough to win.
As far as his stamina, outside of his best years when he could go a tough 12 rounds, his stamina was always a bit questionable. In both the Holyfield and the douglas fights, he was breathing like a tired race horse in a way we usually don't see with top boxers. Most elite boxers aren't even noticeably breathing hard in their post fight interviews.
It's not because Jake didn't look for the finish it's because Tyson several times during the fight chose not to exploit clear openings. He did look slow and old but it's not just that. Tyson on several occations dodged punches and got Jake in bad positions where he was wide open for a counter but chose not to throw it. It looked like he was afraid to hit him with anything serious.I don't understand why people think it's rigged because Jake went easy on him. that's what I saw, either way none of us will ever know what was or was not worked out beforehand and it's just not a good look for mike or for the sport. It's not because Jake didn't look for the finish it's because Tyson several times during the fight chose not to exploit clear openings. It's almost as if old fighters can't pull the trigger anymore. It's not because Jake didn't look for the finish it's because Tyson several times during the fight chose not to exploit clear openings. terrible fight to bet on either way. Some fights just are not even worth the chance, no matter what the odds. Some fights are almost worth putting the house on but I'd say with boxing, no fight should put that much up. Imagine how Tommy Hearns felt when people told him they lost their houses betting on him to beat Leonard. No, he didn't tell 'em to do that but it had to hurt to have people believe in you only to fail them.People actually bet on this guy to win.View attachment 1072417
- A 44 years old Foreman would make Tyson crumble at the first shots. Mike isnt enduring that punishment. What about George Foreman does he beat Paul too?
