Now it's too late and there's nothing for him, maybe him vs Shara or Kevin Holland on some fight night prelim somewhere.

Can we now acknowledge how generous Poatan was when he offered him a chance at the 205 title even though he had just lost to Strickland?

One last chance at Glory, prove the doubters wrong, prove your knockout wasn't a fluke... but nah, "I don't keep scores I settle them" or some shit like that.

What's the score now Izzy?

That would have been a good paycheck for him but he is indeed done after this.

Hopefully he doesn't go full Bj Penn from here on.

You're not wrong but man what'd Izzy do to you lol
Edit, sorry misunderstood the question.

Nothing, it's just the dude was so full of himself and deserves all the humble pie he gets.

Nah fighting pereira at 205 would be the worst thing he could have done, he seems slower and chinnier now, he would have lost badly. At least he ended the rivalry with a ko which is something he could be proud about since he's prob gonna retire now

Obsess much?

Nah I think that makes him look like more of a bitch than any of his losses. Like the guy beat him 3 times, then he fluked out once and turned down a gift title shot. That's worth at least another 3 KO losses imo.

You and @Koro talking to each other confuses me.
Yoel talking to himself.

don't like izzy but you can't call it a fluke, pereira was losing the 2nd and 3rd fight before finding a finish, adesanya did the same in the 4th fight so it's not a fluke just because he was losing prior otherwise pereira should be held to the same critique. And the 1st fight in kickboxing was a toss up decision

It's not that I think it was a fluke, it's that IZZY himself thinks so.

Just think about this for a second, his last win was the knockout of Pereira. He's now lost his title to Strickland, meanwhile Pereira is the biggest thing in MMA and just won his second title, and is offering him a shot at it, and Izzy wants no part.

Can you rationalize this to me in any way other than he simply didn't believe he could win?

Not much, haven't thought about the guy since his last fight, but he just fought so that's kinda the topic of the day no?

How many threads?

yeah Adesanya doesn't think he can win at 205, he already barely won against a 185 smaller alex
