You didn't respond to single thing I said. Nevertheless, I'll respond to you.
I want to pay less taxes, not more. I prefer my tax dollars are spent on something I can enjoy. Better roads, nice wide bicycle lanes, drainage projects to keep the rivers flowing and full of fish, lots of police and firefighters with great gear- things I can benefit from.
It doesn't bother me if my tax dollars go to help the community, but the particular "community" in question doesn't need more handouts. In fact, that's detrimental to their development. They need to wake up and realize that nobody is going to do it for them. They need to take matters into their own hands and take responsibility.
I know how possible it is. It's difficult, but very possible to get away from poverty and improve. My family is full of honest, respectful, and very hard working people. I think this is because we've earned what we have now and we are extremely grateful. We do not come from old money. My grandfather was an orphan who was thrown on a boat and sent here when he was 8. My wife grew up in a house with a dirt floor and no electricity for her first 7 years. We've worked for everything we've got- no handouts.
