Just let others suffer while his daughters products are spared from the trade war with China. While Trump rails on about China trade he seems to like to pick and chose who are effected. People like Apple Computer, his daughters clothing line and other businesses. It's is easy to see why he does what he does because Apple CEO sits on his technology board after many others left due too issues about gay rights and political stances made by the President.

This while solar panel prices are up 30 percent this year and thousands of jobs are lost as solar companies are cutting back on new business deals. A total of over 2 billion dollars that where going to create jobs due to the tariffs.

I like to give women in business the benefit of the doubt, since lord knows they have the deck stacked against them enough... That being the case, are there similar items being made by other people being hit by tariffs? If so, obviously this type of special treatment is a truly deplorable incident of self serving corruption. If not, what's the end game of pointing this out - for the orangutan to slap tariffs on yet another industry just so his daughter suffers as well?

Exactly this. This is why I don't trust anything I read by 'journalists' anymore.

I don't have any particular feelings for Trump so I'm not supporting him. I'm just sick of this type of spin, which crossed the line into bullshit a while ago.

It seems that she has been spared on tariffs all together as there are already tariffs on clothing. It seems she has no tariffs on the clothing she sells. It also seems that very likely additional tariffs will be imposed as the trade war continues. The point is that clothing was spared because his daughter sells clothing.

In other news that will hurt American jobs is Tesla just raised the price of their Model S, Model X and Model 3. Model X and Model S saw the biggest increase 20,000 dollars during the trade war. This could cost thousands of US jobs during the trade war.
