I haven't seen it in years but I really want to.finally watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. what a frenetic balls-2-the-wall tongue-in-cheek campfest compared to the humble brilliance of its predecessor.
Tobe Hooper: “so you want a fuckin’ sequel?”
Yes, love Black Christmas, it's one of my favorites. A must watch each year and one of the original slaher movies.speaking of Christmas, Black Christmas on Amazon Prime right now, solid horror flick
also The Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 2, another solid movie
Conjuring was great. I always said it was an unoriginal idea and theme that was done correctly. Part 2 was meh for me. Had a lot of potential, but just didn't hit the mark like the first one did.Have to disagree with y'all about The Conjuring. One of my favorite horror movies of all time. Last horror movie I watched that made me jump a few times.
I see why people may not like it though. Critics were raving about it like it was the second coming of The Exorcist so expectations were really high for those who hadn't seen it yet.
I like The Conjuring 2 as well

The 80's remake is fantastic, good mixture of comedy with just a little gore, they did a really good job on itI'm trying to convince my wife and kid (13) to watch the 80s Blob. They love horror movies and they just roll their eyes when I mention it, but it is an underrated kinda messed up movie. I love it and haven't seen it in years.

John Carpenter considered directing it at one point
Re-animator yes, was saying there is a neat little 90's movie called Castle Freak from the same director and starring Jeffrey C. Well worth a watchAnybody mention Videodrome, Scanners or Re-Animator yet? Classics.
Motel Hell is great, wicked funny, good to watch that and Microwave Massacre as a double bill. Nothing like a good bit of family cannibalism fun!Has anybody here watched Motel Hell? I've liked that one since I was young, but I've never ran into anybody else that's seen it.
I recently rewatched May, love that one. And for the first time watched the new Rabid (beautifully shot, bleak ending, I enjoyed it), Mandy (that was a fun experience), and The Ritual (I was genuinely creeped out the first bit of it, but as I suspected it fell off for me when they revealed the threat and monster). Also watched Happy Death Day 2U, I loved the first, but idk if I can get behind this one. She got her dead mother back, but gave it up to be with a guy? Ehhhh. Having just lost somebody special to me, honestly, I can't relate. Also rewatched Sinister. I just love the 8mm camera clips, but I'm not sure if it was worth a rewatch. Normally on a second watch you'll catch new things, but Sinister is so simple there was none of that when I watched it again. There's nothing more to get.
I plan to watch Urban Legend and Thirteen Ghosts this year at some point. Maybe tonight.
Has anybody here watched Motel Hell?
Urban Legend and Thirteen Ghosts
Yes, the Soska Sisters remade it. It even has CM Punk in it playing a douchebag which is great. He shouts at a woman that she's a "New Jersey 6" lmao. The lead is very beautiful, and the Soskas have a knack for taking gorgeous shots. I'd post some stills, but it had a very small and limited release, mostly just making its way through the horror festivals the past month or so.Motel Hell is great, wicked funny, good to watch that and Microwave Massacre as a double bill. Have to admit I don't know most of those other movies, I'm not much for newer horror. When you say the new Rabid, is it remake of the Cronenberg movie?
Sinister is one of the few post early 90's horror I've enjoyed, it's a good story, good cast, good mystery as well as decent scares.
I watched Urban Legend earlier this year and didn't enjoy it like I had when it came out, it never lived up to that opening scene with the chick in the car.
