Fuck that was good. Definitely more horror vibey than the first movie. Like the cast a lot too. For those wondering about Bill Hader, the dude can act. Check out Barry on HBO.

Wow looks very good. I don't even want to see the other trailer this is enough. So sick of trailers ruining movies.

It thought the first IT movie had a lot of potential but a shit load of issues. The first IT marketing campaign pretty showed all the cool tricks in the movie. That had 2 main trailers, then multiple TV spots which showed an additional scenes and finally they showed the entire sewer scene as a preview in the theaters. With that said it ended up working from a marketing perspective. Smart move to stay away from additional trailers.

The first one felt like it was written, directed and produced by committee. It was a fun sort of popcorn film but it didn't feel like it had a cohesive vision of what it was supposed to be behind the camera.

This looks like more of the same tbh but it has James McAvoy and that dude has been impressing the shit out of me lately and I'll probably see it just for him.

In general I'm most interested to see if Bill's performance comes off more consistent in this movie. Bill's performance in the sewer scene in the first movie was very good but that was the last scene that was actually shot and they dedicated the most amount of time to it(that was obviously the make or break for that movie so they had to get it right and it shows in the quality of that scene compared to the rest of the movie). I'm hoping with lessons learned from the first movie and an increased budget this will be much more better. His voice sounded very cool in this trailer but I'm hoping thats not limited.

The real question is.

Does Jessica Chastain get naked in this.

How spoiler-ish is the trailer? I loved the first part but felt they gave away too much in the trailer.

What did they give away? I know the story and watched the miniseries and I didn't see anything significant in the trailer

I suppose nothing plot specific exactly. But I thought they showed too many of the scare scenes.

First Teaser Trailer for IT: CHAPTER 2 Features Grown Up Losers Club Taking on Pennywise

Jessica Chastain in Talks to Star as Beverly in New Line's IT: CHAPTER 2

Jessica Chastain is in talks to star in part two of New Line’s adaptation of Stephen King’s It.

The second installment focuses on the adult versions of the characters subjected to the terror of demon clown Pennywise, and Chastain will play the grown-up version of Beverly, the girl in the misfit group. Sophia Lillis played the character in last year’s movie, which became a surprise phenomenon.

Gary Dauberman is in the midst of writing the script, and Andy Muschietti is returning as director. Bill Skarsgård will return as Pennywise. It: Chapter 2 is set to be released Sept. 6, 2019.

Chastain has been linked to the second installment since the first one opened. Muschietti and the two-time Oscar-nominated actress have had a mutual admiration ever since they worked together on the 2013 horror hit Mama, and Chastain was to have appeared in a post-credit sequence for It that was ultimately scrapped.

That looks creepy AF.

Looks good. Bruh, that naked old lady crab walking in the background with her titties flopping around was terrifying.

I thought that Chapter 1 was a big letdown, but Chapter 2 looks fantastic. The scene with the old lady in the teaser is basically ripped off wholesale from M. Night Shyamalan's phenomenal yet seemingly unknown recent horror film The Visit but it's done well and I'm sure is even better in context. And I'm shocked by that cast.

I wasn't expecting to be but I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I like it when comedians turn out to be great actors.

It 2 looks good.

Also kind of reminds me of the old lady in the diner from Legion.

Old people can be scary as shit.

Looks great, like the casting so far. McEvoy is a beast.

Looks good, I liked the new IT movie, I think the story and length was better than the original, the original was so long and dragged a bit. But Tim Curry is a very very very special actor, and no one would be able to pull of Pennywise like he did, and I don't blame Bill Skarsgard. Tim Curry made the movie special in the original, I'm so sad he has become very ill now. He was an amazing actor and he is really a theater actor, some of his theater plays are epic.

Damn.. that trailer looked good. Looking forward to this one for sure.

Yep. That opening scene got me hooked. Not watching anything else until the the movie comes up. This should be considered the main trailer not a teaser.

Well, one thing they did give away from the old woman scene is that the old woman was already dead by the time Beverly showed up. Pennywise is talking to her through a reanimated corpse.

-The flies
-The complaint about the heat because the body is decomposing
-The way the limbs flail when she's running at Bev
