Jones is a great fighter, but unlike some other contenders to GOAT-status he has been busted for coward juice. In a close contest ultimately decided by subjective opinions and personal values that puts him out of the GOAT-conversation for me.

Same things can be said about fedor,but there is a difference:
-jones got caught using peds and drugs
-lhw division during jones run was way less competitive than hw during fedor"s run
-fedor was always smaller than his opponents and jones was always bigger than his opponents
- jones never fought at hw,which by default is tougher competition
-fedor never fought in ufc (lol) and jones never fought in pride

how is hw tougher competition? have you seen some of the guys that have gotten title fights, it's like women's 135/145. black beast fight for the hw belt. Paul Buentello, Justin Eilers also both title contenders

GSP, Anderson Silva, Demetrious Johnson. There are arguments for and against each of these as well, but many of us find the cheating criticism overwhelming, outright excluding Silva and Jones.
