I don't see how it can be much worse than a bunch of religious fanatics who hang people from cranes because they committed the crime of being Gay.

Mullahs are shit-bags. Fuck 'em.

The guys running Iran right now are actually on the moderate side, you do not want to see what the hardcore fundamentalist lunatics are like.

A full blown regional conflict has the potential to disrupt international trade and become a world war. Of all the conflicts going on right now, this one is the most worrisome.

Indeed and it would also make the prices of oil skyrocket especially if Iran decide to blackade the strait of Hormuz.

And yes it's by far the most worrisome. Russia - Ukraine is more geopolitcal in nature. This however is a mix of hatred , emotions , religion and extremism. This is a dangerous cocktail

What I will say is that there were some who thought it looked the way you are saying, but given they weren't inside the Israeli ship, that is just an appearance, and they are merely speculating. Friendly fire incidents happen all of the time in the military. Everyone will believe what they want to believe. There isn't much to debate other than that.
Well thank you for at least engaging on the topic, but again you fail to recognize the totality of intent on skewing the findings to absolve Israel's act and cast it as a "mistake"...

Specifically, the affidavit of Chief Counsel Ward Boston, who was senior legal counsel to the Navy Court of Inquiry, in which he claims that President Johnson and Secretary McNamara personally instructed Admiral Kidd to conclude the attack was a mistake, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary including the presence of scattered American flags and the crew’s clear testimony.

This goes well beyond speculation.

Did they hit residential areas though? Seems like they were going for military targets within Tel Aviv.
I can post some sources stating they hit residential areas, but what is apparent in the recent footage is that the missiles were striking near high rise buildings and urban central areas. Israel striking the nuclear research areas may not have been to thwart an immediate military response but there are strategic reasons for targetting them at least.

Iran regime will be happy to have no electric power. Means no internet for the people, they'll thank Israel for that and for refreshing their ranks, they always find a substitute who looks exactly like the guy assasinated lol

I don't literally pray, but I'm praying for the innocent Palestinians and Iranians caught in this ruthless violence.

It's a longshot but 'm praying both Ukraine and Iran can land decisive and crippling strikes to Russia and Israel, enough to disrupt their nuclear capabilities. After seeing what a Ukrainian drone operation can do, and how easily Iranian missiles got through the Israeli Iron Dome, anything's possible.

There's a lot of Iranians who want a secular country as well. They have no love for Israel, of course, but they hate the Medieval retards who brutally oppress them in the name of, "God" while enjoying luxurious lifestyles themselves.

> 70 years ago, Iran looked just like any Western country.
> Short skirts, rock’n’roll, open universities.
> It’s 1953. Iran elects a secular socialist: Mohammad Mossadegh.
> He nationalizes oil. That pisses off BP.
> Cold War excuse.
> CIA and MI6 stage a coup. Operation Ajax
> Mossadegh is overthrown
> They install the Shah, a brutal US-backed dictator.
> Secret police. Torture chambers.
> Iran turns into a puppet state.
> People are that desperate, they turn to Khomeini, an exiled cleric, promising independence and dignity.
> 1979: Islamic Revolution.
> The Shah flees.
> US embassy stormed. Hostage crisis.
> America never forgives.
> Arms Saddam Hussein.
> Iraq invades Iran.
> US provides chemical weapons, satellite intel, logistics.
> 1 million Iranians die.
> Iranian kids sent into minefields with plastic keys around their necks.
> US shoots down Iran Air Flight 655
> 290 civilians dead.
> No apology.
> Fast forward today, Israel attacks Iran.
> The U.S. immediately says “we stand with Israel.”
> They talk about “regime change.”
> They say that Iranians “deserve freedom.”
> No mention of the coup they started.
> No mention of the dictator they installed
.> No mention of the war they fueled.
> No mention of the decades of sanctions and sabotage.
> They created the monster, and now act shocked it’s still breathing.

You presume Iran is "fucking" with Israel without provocation, despite Israel's regular use of "preemptive" attacks on them.

Israel's goal with Iran is regime change. They've stated that publicly and regularly.

A goal that is shared by The United States who support them.
lol. Yeah, they use terror proxies all over to attack Israel because Israel fucks with them. Haha.

That doesn't prove anything even if what they say was true about getting political pressure to not go around claiming it was intentional. The fact that they would not want those guys claiming it was intentional could mean a lot of different things. This was investigated by everyone from the Navy to the CIA. It doesn't make a lot of sense that the US would want to cover it up if Israel actually was attacking us and killing our servicemen.

It has been debated, but historians mostly don't think it was intentional, or don't believe there is anything near sufficient evidence to prove it. There actually was a book written to debunk this and show it was entirely unsubstantiated.

People that WANT to believe a conspiracy of course will always point to this, but it is far from convincing. The US was never at war with Israel.

Some of the best people I've met have been Iranian immigrants who weren't religious. They had one thing in common though, they absolutely despised Muslim immigrants.
