Olivera pulled out so Volk stepped in on short notice. Arman Turducken got shook and pulled out so Money Moicono stepped in on a days notice. How are these situations Islams fault he good have refused the fights but he did what a Champion should do and fucking fight!

Diamond?? He's pretty easily the best LW to not win a title. How is he not championship material when he has beaten multiple champions (like 4 or 5) and contenders? He is pretty easily better than JDM is. This seems like a circular argument based on the fact that one won the title while the other did not.
 
I've never actually watched one of his fights. I just read the results so i can come yap here and pretend like i belong.

Wasn't jack a decent fighter? I dunno. He seems pretty good at fighting regardless.

nah, he's king of the trailer park and hot sauce but honestly he never won the big one when it mattered. pettis was already cooked, alvarez cooked, khabib loss, canner who cares, max weight bullied, charles loss, then more losses to close it out. i don't see it at all.

You can discredit Khabib's resume to a point, I don't agree on Islam. IF he can defend twice at 170 (not including Usman) there's a good argument to make he's the goat.

I would like to disagree. To me it seems like Makhachev did very well in "dodging" anyone with one punch KO power ability. Best striker he faced was 36yo Poirier which lost to Gaethej via KO. Then Makhachev left LW when Topuria with one punch KO power came in...

Volk was the #1 p4p fighter at the time.

And people wonder why Islam didn't bother sticking around at LW for Topuria. It does nothing for him going through a tough weight cut only to beat "another 5'1" FW".
