Gaethje makes most sense. You can't just keep feeding Islam rematches. Arman makes sense but its another rematch.

Arman has 1 current top 15 win , that makes no sense . Gamrot has 3 including Arman and that doesn’t even make sense.

My biggest problem (if this is true) is Gaethje already had 2 shots at the belt. He only lasted 9 or 10 minutes in those two fights combined. He did some damage in both fights, but his "kill or be killed" style doesn't work well against the very best guys, especially if they have submission skills.

Charles also has a kill or be killed style and since Islam already killed him Gaethje is next.

i would love to see gaethje send islam to the shadow realm, the flat earth shadow realm. but something tells me that if it is a fair fight with both fighters having a full training camp, and islam with his exemptions, + officlal no USADA anymore, + in the desert, that gaethje will lose somehow.

I do think Islam's striking is better, but his grappling doesn't appear to be AS dominate or uses the aggressive forward pressuring style of Khabib's

It's just not that interesting Islam fighting anyone with this level of BJJ, if he can get a takedown he wins, and he's the best takedown artist in the division. Even if Gaethje stuffs one or two and catches Islam, I would just think 'run it back 10 times and Islam wins 8/10'
