"I have said that I want to fight Kamaru Usman next. Although the media doesn't believe in this fight, as I can see. But in my opinion, Usman would steamroll through these up-and-comers
like Morales, Prates, the striker-only. Those guys haven't been checked yet. Usman would be the hardest fight for me, and in terms of media, we could build it up like a former champion,
the most title defenses in my weight division. We could promote this fight and make it fun to watch."

"Buckley was one of these mentioned contenders. And Usman simply took him apart, and everybody has already forgotten about this guy now. But if Buckley won there, he would've been,
one hundred percent, undisputed number one contender."

He’s right though…

Usman doesn’t deserve a title shot but he's the only one with a name and storied career that’s worthy of a challenge.

Shavkat seems to want Buckley…

The rest Morales, Prates, Brady etc… have to do more to earn a shot too.

I’d say Usman making Khamzat look human is more worthy of a shot than anything else right now.

“Nah say what u really wanna say lil bitch”

Islam has been champion since 2022 without ever facing a #1 contender.

Islam also never fought in a #1 contender fight either.

Isn't Islam great
Left his division after beating 6 out of then top 10.

Wanted the 7th, who was the number one contender, but the casuals all cried like bitches.

Maybe 6 or 7 years ago.

Today, not even close. It is an easy day at the office for Islam.

He trying to play the Jones card here without the drawing power to do that.
Stipe was ranked #2 when Jon immediately called him out after beating #1 Gane. It was the next fight rankings wise even without all the narratives of GOAT LHW vs GOAT HW. You could quibble that the then still upcoming Pav/Blaydes fight was the real #1 contender fight and Jon should instead fight that winner, but Stipe was ranked ahead before this when Jon called him out after winning the belt. Pav/Blaydes winner was also the only other option at the time so it was only skipping 1 potential "better" fight, and Pav did end up being the backup option anyways.

Jon had also been calling out Stipe since 2020 when he vacated his LHW belt 1 day after Stipe beat DC for the trilogy. It wasn't new.

This is nothing like that. Islam is just actually straight up randomly calling out Usman who's nowhere near the top of the division, who Islam's historically never wanted to fight until now, over plenty of other top contenders he should be fighting, and we've got nothing indicating they'll be his backup.

Islam's just straight up ducking trying for what he perceives to be an easier fight to try and beat the win streak record and score a defence across two divisions.

Why do you clowns always suddenly pretend that historical rankings don't exist and we can instead rank people whatever the hell we want if it makes them look better?

Beating unranked Arman on 2 weeks notice for Arman's debut is not beating ranked Arman. This shouldn't have to be explained to you. The wins are as good as they were at the time, you can't retroactively re-rank them future rankings.

I also don't even know where you're possibly getting the rest of your numbers as they're not true, but I'm sure there's a reason you said it this way so you didn't have to say that 2 of those top 10 fighters were only Moicano and Hooker... who recently said they should fight each other because they both suck.

Islam's record is nearly universally found to be lacking except by the smallest subset of Dagi fans who'll slobber up anything Dagi related.
