I'd say anythings a choice, there are some very smart people on youtube, some guy named sapolsky who claims "free will" doesn't exist, I can't agree with that. What would be the point to life if that was true?
everything is already written for all of us in this life, we 'just' have to decide which path to choose , it's all about the choices and making decesions

Well like when China moves on Taiwan, is it necessary for Taiwan to defend themselves (ie war)? I would say yes. Was it necessary for the US to invade Afghanistan after 9/11? I would say yes. However, was it necessary to stay for 20 years, and especially after Bin Laden was killed? Probably not. No, if the goal is nation building and westernizing them. They are savages. You can't westernize them. It's pointless. Was Iraq necessary? No.

So it depends. Yes absolutely under the right circumstances.

Voted i don't know. While small scale skrmishes are all but inevitable, full scale war should never happen. Humans like to break rules and measure dicks though.

It's a natural and effective way to solve the overpopulation problem. And yes humans will self-destruct eventually.

I don't think war in itself necessarily leads to the evolution of a better or more advanced society. Ants have been waging wars on each other for millions of years and they're still retarded.

Back in the times when the Japanese were being shipped to intern camps, we only got a few films making it seem like a wonderful vacations spot, there is not way to pull that off today and americans are really soft and it'll be shocking to them to see the stuff we'd be doing.
The US has death camps in Guantanamo and no one cares. What makes you think they would give a shit about a bunch of illegals? If anything, it's going to be easier now because the internet generation is more desensitized.

Even if you think it’s bad or unnecessary, some other country won’t. And there in lies the rub. The only way to dissuade them from attacking you is to be strong, to become a hammer yourself. But when you become a hammer, a lot of difficult problems start to look like nails.

I’ll bet there has never been a strong, organized and prosperous country that didn’t resort to violence when other means started becoming to inconvenient. And if you’re not that then there’s a good chance you end up being a victim like Ukraine and Palestine.

no one cares about anyone really, especially if they don't have to see it. cops would still be getting away with killing people if we didn't have videos of them doing stupid shit. So, some of it is just not having to look at it, we offshore our dirty work. We do that with everything. If we had to kill our own food we'd probably be more appreciative of life/death process unlike how we keep it hidden well away from our population centers. I've never killed a thing but a bug and would feel very bad about killing a pig, cow or chicken.
