Is Rozen vs Gane a coin flip?

I'm not sold on either or excited for this fight, but I think it's 50/50 with a slight edge to Gane everywhere but Powah!
Could easily be a boring Counter Striker vs Counter Striker situation, or could be over very quickly, either way, meh...

I think Gane easily. He's got much better footwork and shot selection. Jairzinho has a good counter left and power, but is more limited than Gane, who's also better on the ground.

heigth gap was closer than i tougth it was gonna be

rozenstruik should get this, he has way more experience in combat fighting and has crazy power.

They both seem to have similar fighting styles. Big explosive men with KO power and both KOd JDS not too long ago.

I see this as a pick em fight. Whoever lands a huge bomb first will probably win via KO
Gane doesn't seem to land many "huge bombs". I find that he's got solid movement and footwork, but doesn't seem to pack as much power as we'd expect from a man of that size with that kind of physique and muay thai background.

I think he'll go for the clinch and try to take Rozenstruik down and get a sub, honestly.

Rozenstruik has knocked guys down with jabs. They don't pack the same kind of power at all.

Not sure how Gane looks in championship rounds either, we yet have to see him in a 5 rounder.

I'm tempted to pick Rozenstruik to win this, but I feel like Gane could run and gun, circle away and reset for quite a few rounds en route to decision, or take the fight to the ground at some point.

Interesting fight!

Gane has an advantage on the ground and I believe he will take advantage of this
Agree 100%...he'll try to initiate clinch sitations as fast as he can, and possibly trip Rozenstruik to the ground and try to submit him.

He excels at everything. He is extremely fast for a guy that size and shows exceptional killer instinct.
That's true, however he doesn't seem to have the same kind of power that Rozenstruik possesses. He finishes his fights, but oddly enough, during his UFC run, he mostly submitted guys, which is nixe, but kind of unexpected from a muay thai specialist...

But he's a solid prospect at HW for sure!

Gane has surprisingly little power for a man his size. Even at the lower levels he throws bomb after bomb and his opponent doesn’t go out. He does have a few stoppages but, with the exception of JDS, it’s usually after an accumulation of strikes. He’s even gotten a bit tired and sloppy from hitting his opponent so much.

Against Rozenstuik he is going to have to stay on point for the entire fight. Rozenstuik has a solid chin and carries his one punch KO power late into the fight. That being said, Bigi is slower with a shorter reach and his footwork isn’t nearly as good.

Ultimately I can see Gane peppering Rozenstuik from the outside, busting up his face but without wobbling him and winning a decision. I can also see Gane taking Bigi down.

I think it’s also possible Gane gets tired throwing all of those punches and makes a mistake, gets countered and then KOd. Rozenstuik could also crowd Gane. If he isn’t taken down, I can see Rozenstuik countering Gane as he tries to create space.

i think this fight is way closer than the odds would have it. I think the value bet in on Rozenstuik.

I see Rozen pulling off another Derrick Lewis style KO in the last round or so after losing every minute of the fight handily.

Gane trained extensively with Ngannou, big Frank might’ve told Gane a few tips On how to beat Roz but I doubt it will matter that much as there was not much to learn in a 15 second fight.

Im leaning Rozenstruik. I don’t see the hype for Gane, he’s got a decade left in this sport and he’s not even in his prime yet while Roz sure is. The experience difference is just mind blowing with Gane only having 7 pro fights and Roz has like a 100 professional outings.

Gane should be outworking Rozen. But I have a feeling he is giong to get caught in the second half of the fight.

Jairzinho seems the quicker fighter, even though Gane might have better foot work to escape situations.

If it stays standing, I seen Rozen getting a finish... but if Gane takes to the ground (like I expect him to try to do/what their gameplan is), then Gane by sub.

I think Jairzinho gets the win a KO/TKO though. I think this fight was too soon for Gane... felt he should have got more fights under his belt.. before taking on someone like Jairzinho.

I got Roz. Unfortunately I'm in a State where there is no legalized gambling but I'd be happy to do an AV bet for any takers. Reminds me of the Blades-Beast fight where Blades was a huge favorite too. Roz has fuck you power, can't underestimate that.

Slightly off topic but Rozenstruik vs Lewis would be a sick fight, both dudes are very similar, possess huge KO power and also can look like total crap until they land that one punch, but Rozenstruik is shown to be pretty technical and throws combos unlike Lewis

No Ngannou has left that gym long before fighting Rozenstruik. They only trained together a couple of months when Ngannou prepared for Blaydes and Cain.
