Well, Showtime is interested in keeping MMA on their programming, so they will put money into it. Rampage is a huge name, I won't be surprised if WSOF ends up on the Showtime Network. Maybe he goes to Bellator, too.

Rampage has been and will always be a big name: undisputed, unified PrideFC-UFC LHW champion, beat the biggest name the franchise has seen in UFC Hall of Famer Liddell 2x, was in a major motion picture to top off his fighting resume, and if he beats highly touted Texiera, Dana will cough up the money to keep Rampage. Dana paid big money to keep Tito. Last thing Dana needs is Rampage in a competing organization *especially* if he goes out on a win against Tex.
 
He wants to go to organizations where it isn't MMA it's more stand and bang.
 
I have no basis for the statement I am about to make but my guess is this goes exactly like the Tito stuff did. Ortiz left the UFC and then spent a year "reading offers" looking for a good fit, getting healthy, marrying pornstars etc. After looking at what was out there he elected to make up with Dana and sign a new UFC contract.

That's how I see this playing out. Unless Viacom is really willing to open the vault and bring him to Bellator.

While I agree, the situations are different... I fell into the BJ hype for Rory even though I didn't really care who won as it was win/win from my point. But, Rory wasn't a hype train, he is a great fighter and already got derailed by Carlos. Tex has been putting a whooping on a bunch of dudes not ranked most of his career, beat Kingsbury and Fabio and now he is the true threat to JBJ.

Rampage will be a true test for him, if he can take Rampage down TKO/sub him or KO him on the feet he will prove that he is legit.

Am I? You said he hasn't KO'd anyone since 2008 including guys with bad chins. I countered that, and basically showed you how you were wrong for even putting bader on there.

You made the point that Fabio has way more KO's in less fights. I made the point, to counter that, that he's knocking out people nobody has ever heard of in orgs no one has ever heard of.

So, what point am I missing?

Hah! What a jackass. First, the only other point you've even made was "If Glover laid the type of beating on Rampage that he did on Fabio, that Rampage would quit and cry" Everything else YOU have said, was fucking semantics. You have no point, you don't know your own point, so you jump straight to internet hard guy tactics and say dumb insults.

I don't know why I'd expect anything better, but you sound exactly like a child. "I do to have a point! You're just too dumb to know what it is, and i'm not telling you, so go away buttmunch"
 
Win or lose vs Glover I don't see him leaving, he pretty much did/said the exact same things the last time his contract only had 1 or 2 fights left on it.

I think he's just trying to squeeze as much money out of the UFC as possible for his next contract and I don't think the UFC will let a big draw like him walk when they could probably give him what he wants pretty easily.

I've only tried to debate, what I thought was, your point. You said I missed the point, so I simply asked what the point is...you can not put together, in words, what your point is...so you go straight to insults and emoticons like you're 12.

I, fully, believe you are older than that. So, instead of playing the big tough guy who doesn't have to respond, and is so cool for it, maybe put together a coherent thought. Or you could just say "stop fellating Rampage" and make a little eye roll emoticon and look to everyone, on the outside, like someone who has no real point and can not defend their point intelligently.
