Don't know about that. They were big-time on the debt panic during the GFC recovery in the news pages, which was definitely a right-of-center position among economists. Tax-cut framing in the MSM also seems out of line with mainstream economists to their right.

I don’t see how that logic tracks. And I don’t see how a self-proclaimed left of center person would have such weak convictions that they would allow this to happen. Nothing about this makes any sense.

If you’re more worried about the “culture war” than you are about GOP policies that fuck over so many people then you must have a pretty nice life. Lot’s of people don’t have such a luxury.

Well what you’re saying is true but you’re talking about 2009. I didn’t see any of that this time around (of course, this is totally subjective and depends on what media you consume) and they’ve been quite critical of the Republican tax cuts to the rich.

In the case of the election, much of the MSM, social media, and big tech, benefits democrats.

i was jaded for a bit, for sure. clinton's long history of scumbaggery and incompetence gave me false hope in trump circa 2016. i had faith in him for a couple months and then he filled his cabinet with the swamp, instead of draining it.

since then, it's only reinforced my faith in anarchism.
