Maybe, but 2 straight misses at the scale ( 1 he clearly cheated) is pretty much a wrap. Cause 1 thing about weight cutting is its only going to get tougher. It will never go the other way.

him vs shavkat would be a good fight, but after the weight miss, i don't want to see him rewarded.
with a number 1 contender fight or title shot
 
he can, he's made it before, he was told the night before to stop. i think they dont want a situation where he has both 170 an 185 belts.

We don't really know what his process is, if he just tries to lose water a couple of days before the fight there are clearly things he can do better but that's all speculation. He is also only 28 and a lot of people tend to put on muscle when they are approaching 30 so it will definately not be easier in the future. I agree with you that his future is probably in the higher weight classes.
 
If he gets paid enough then sure. And especially if right fights present themselves.
 
You're curious why he's trying to fight at MW after destroying a fight card with a huge weight miss?

This. He fears Khamzat because he knows he can run through every fighter at 170 and 185 in one round. That's why Khamzat will never be allowed to fight again. Literally blacklisted because of talent.

Don't tell me that him missing weight had anything to do with it. If Dana cares about something as stupid and arbitrary as making weight he shouldn't be in the fight business.

I get it but he's the only guy with a top 5 win in the division right now of the guys who deserve title shot.

its all about entertainment now anyways. i would rather see shavkat get a shot after edwards takes on gilbert.

UFC we'll see Colby fight this year. Next year Masvidal. Maybe end of 2024 Belal/Shavkat/Khamzat will finally get a chance.

For his second fight in the UFC he made WW 10 days after weighing in at 185. Yes the fight was in Abu Dhabi but like I said it was his second fight and there was really only hype behind him amongst the hardcores, and certainly not enough to give him preferental treatment like that

He pretty much ruined a card they spent millions to promote. Dana handed him the easiest fight to advance to a title shot. How can you say Dana should not worry about fighters making weight? Khamzat is pretty much a headliner or co main for the foreseeable future and Dana can't risk him messing up another major event.
 
I think he's no longer able to do anything but sit around and complain about how no one wants to fight him, and thinks he deserves a MW title shot despite having really beaten no one at 185. He just seems to want to everything given to him instead of earning it. Just shut up and fight.
