Is Jon Jones a dirty fighter?

The only thing I dont like is the open hand and extended fingers in an opponents face.

I'd utilize those kicks too. Theyre effective.

Jones likes to put his fingers in his opponent's eyes and it's on purpose.

I don't care about the kicks. They don't do much damage.

The eye poking is getting a little ridiculous though.

Complain all you want about pawning, his outstretched fingers, it being near the eye, etc... But no actual poke happened. And the action of the fight was never stopped by the ref or more importantly the fighter, like Gus did. Rampage attempted to complain about his fingers being outstretched, just like he complained and looked at the ref for help about being kicked in the knee.

Congratulations on being the only person in the world to think Jones doesn't attack the eyes of his opponents. You are blinder than a future opponent of the champion.

Knee kicks and eye pokes = SHAM-pion.

There will be more focus on it in this fight than ever before.
It will be interesting to see what Cormier has been working on to defend against the eye poke.

them 12-6 elbows, eye pokes, poking his opponents face with his dirty beard

Wait, so you're saying its okay to constantly stick your fingers IN FRONT of your opponents eyes, as long as it doesn't actually poke? You do realize their opponent is completely unable to do anything about it because if they try to move they'll get poked in the eyes, only to get a shitty warning from a referee which never adds up to anything, right?

Interestingly, it has to be assumed Cormier (and Cain, etc.) were working on a plan to counter the eye poke attack. Presumably, it will involve slipping into close range as often as possible. We will see very soon how all that will play out.

Yes 100% a dirty fighter.

All it needs is the eye pokes, he does them on purpose.

If you think the knee kicks are dirty then you can add that as well, i don't think it's dirty, it just makes the fight boring.

He's a greasy bastard but his dirty moves are within the ruleset, apparently.

Of course he's a dirty fighter. A person would have to be clueless or a blind fanboy not to see that. It's not really because of the oblique kicks because though. Ya, they're not really sportsmanlike but they're legal. He's a dirty fighter for other tactics, mainly his eye poking. You'd think it'd be at the point that refs would automatically deduct a point from him but they're pretty stupid and too slow to catch on so he knows he can always get away with it at least once without penalty and even then still use it as a tactic to make opponents hesitant as long as he keeps his fingers out there.

Well, if a technique is legal, learn to defend it. About the eye poke, maybe one warning then minus one point for every subsequent poke.
