I agree with this, that a third party would help. However, she flat out refuses to see a third party with me. As I said, she does not feel that we have a problem, that any problem there is, is my problem not hers. She told me this the last time we fought about it.

I try to tell dudes that are in the military not to get married. It is not even deployment. Military wives are on the prowl all the time. Think about it. There is no place that a guy can go where he is outnumbered by a ridiculously huge margin by women that are in at least average shape. Well, when you describe it that way, it's hard to argue against it. One of my good friend's marriage turned out the same, maybe even worse. It even descended to psychotic scenarios at one point. But in the end, it was a consequence of your respective poor choices. It is by no means an universal rule, in spite of appearances due to all the failed or miserable marriages. Not everyone failed in picking the right woman. My father sure as hell didn't. Neither did I nor lots of other people I know. Sure, we are a minority, but still.

I am sorry if I offended you, it wasn't my intention to do so. There are tons of reasons why people end up miserable in marriages and I've had philosophical discourses on this very forum which tried to decipher the origin of its failures. While I know she does not use drugs, I and others are convinced she has a mental disorder of some kind. I am going to start keeping a journal of her outbursts and secretly recording her as well. So that when I file, I will have grounds for full custody.
