Is Dern Ribas II the crappiest card ever???

It's not that bad. I'm not excited for it, but the fighters are all pretty good. They just lack the ability to make you think that with a win maybe they could break into the top 5 one day as most of them are kind of old at this point and don't have crowd engagement. If that bothers you as a fan it's a weak card. If you just like food fights, it's far from their worst card.

Anything looks good when you are starving like us

Haven't watched a fight since last year! @HI SCOTT NEWMAN
OMG I was just thinking this, it feels like foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr since we last had a UFC card and playbyplay chat. Its been a long time, seems like years at this point :O

The clock seems to be going slow lately, I don't even remember the UFC rules

Is Ken Shamrock still the champion?

Anything with Dern or at the UFC Apex is always crap.

I used watch every single UFC event but if it's at the Apex then forget it. There's no atmosphere there at all.

Nah it’s aight, we’ve had worse

Also Ribas is more attractive than Dern.

Pretty bad. But I’ll still watch because Uroš Medić and Abdul Razak are there.

It's fine for an apex fight night, I have a degree of interest in most fights. Some really good prospects on the card.
Agreed. Not a card that's gonna blow anyone's mind, but some good prospects. Could turn into one of those cards like the one where Aspinall, Du Plessis and Ilia were on the prelims

It's not the best card but far from the worst. And it's breaking our New Year's MMA drought, so it gets some extra points for being a puddle of water in a desert

No Mohammed Usman so it could definitely be worse
Name a worse card.

God dam this card sucks.

They really need to rebrand the Apex cards as third tier events. If they’re presented that way, they don’t seem as bad. It’s a forgettable throwaway card with a couple ok match ups for hardcore fans.

Why did you use an article from Black Belt magazine for the fight card?

<{Heymansnicker}>

Only 11 more months until we get to see it!
Also, according to Black Belt magazine, this is one of the most highly anticipated cards of the entire year!

"Featuring a stacked lineup of 14 exciting MMA matchups, this event promises non-stop action and intense rivalries. The entire fight card will be broadcast live in the U.S. on ESPN+, making it a must-watch for fight enthusiasts.

Let’s dive into what makes this event one of the most anticipated on the UFC calendar."

I like how UFC is setting our expectations low to kick off new year, only going to get better from here!

Honestly pretty shit. Not sure why site says November. Not looking forward to one fight, but there's always a chance the card becomes one of the best and we've had such a long drought I'll take it. Might even watch whole thing. 6/10
