IF McGregor is truly not fighting on the December card then it's nothing from the fan perspective, but the key thing is now what is Chandler going to do? Is Chandler going to wait until 2025 or is he actually going to fight someone and stop rank squatting? Just so we can stop with the McGregor/Chandler talk just book Chandler/Dariush or if Chandler wants a name book Chandler/Pimblett for December.

He's building his brand in the BKFC. He is co-owner there unlike UFC who turned their back when he wanted a share of what he helped build.

Conor is using the UFC hype machine and will enter bareknuckle for his next fight.

Bro the world is trying to be rid of him. Even Ireland don't want him no more. The only people interested in seeing him fight are people interested in seeing him get smacked again but I think even most of them are over it after Khabib and Dustin took his soul and leg (in that order)

Ya know he should have just owned his limits. would've been hilarious if he had refused to fight khabib, simply conceding he can't wrestle with a Dagestan wrestler. He could have given khabib his props and not given a fuck. he could have refused dustin too, saying he already beat him. but he keeps trying to sign on for fights he can't win, and I think that's really fucked with him. it's a stark contrast from such a long streak of winning. he did well in making himself money, but now it's all he's got, it won't last, and he knows he can't get it back.

There was some weird video Conor made I think very early this year talking about how hard it was getting a fight and seemed to insinuate something about him and UFC not getting along but he didn't want to explain it further

In other words, trying to find an easier opponent than Chandler.

Connie's in a tight spot. He needs to fight out his contract so he can do carnival exhibition type fights in boxing and bare knuckle but he can't fight MMA at the UFC level anymore.

UFC are probably happy with this as it keeps him from making money for other organisations.

To be fair to Dana this is one situation where its not his fault. Conor is the one not fighting, he hasn't fought in ages and is just leading us round and round in circles with this Chandler fight. In Interviews Conor is never clear on the Chandler fight, just lots of mumbling and we'll see what happens type of answers. Then he changes the conversation quickly to his restaurant and beer and new businesses. The guy is a shell of himself and mumbles through everything, he ain't fighting.

It's plausible that both parties are stalling. Conor has no intentions of fighting out his contract and the UFC is trying to keep him under contract legally as long as possible
