Is Carlos Ulberg The Next Big Thing?

I dont think so.he has had very favorable matches and Reyes is shot. In glad he went on a win streak but he has one foot in the shadow realm before he even enters the cage. Need ulberg vs winner of jiri vs Khalil or murzakanov with a win over rakic

He’s got the right camp to make waves at LHW

That was a very impressive knock out of Dominic Reyes. Looking forward to his next fight, perhaps the championship.
Very dependent on whether he can hold up against wrestlers. As it stand he is very tricky and powerful on the feet.

Great footwork and technique for a LHW.
His striking is good enough for the top, haven't seen enough of his grappling.
Next big thing? Dunno, we'll see

I favor him over Ank 60/40

Theres no wrestlers at LHW, Ankalaev is the only “wrestler” in that division. I can see him capturing gold given how weak the division is and every currently are strikers and when it comes to striking especially in the higher divisions one strike can equal or end the fight.

I think he could give Ank problems. Or he gets rolled by him idk at this point.

I dont think hes ready for either the winner or loser of next weeks match.

He needs to beat either Jiri, Rountree or Hill then it would be more deserving...

Another win? LHW is already thin enough that we don't need top contenders knocking each other off before a title fight. Ulberg versus winner of Ank/Pereira is OBVIOUSLY the logical next fight given the timing and state of the division.

Jiri and Khalil already fought for the belt and winner of that can either sit on the sidelines or take one other fight.

I couldn't take this guy seriously after how badly he botched his debut against Nzechukwu. But I guess it was just a beginner's mistake and Nzechukwu is a powerful and durable guy. Since then he's been doing excellent work beating a row of decent guys. Now there's only killers left to fight. Best male stripper turned fighter?

9 fight win streak, 6 finishes, 3 POTN's, with ranked victories over #11 Menifield, #9 Volkan, #3 Jan, and #7 Reyes.

No matter how much anyone thinks he's unprepared for the title, or how the challenges he's faced are relatively weak, he's done what should be required of a challenger in a division, and any kind of criticism is just the division he's in.

His next fight should be the title
