Is BJJ effective in street fights?

Proof that the average joe shmo can’t fight. If you actually train, you should be ok.

i'm always telling people that if you are fighting on hard surfaces like concrete or bitumen you may as well fight with weapons.

No worries dude, I wrote this post because many people watch too many movies seeing Spec ops hand fighting lenghly and still believe it's reality on battlefields....

What a retarded post. Of course a soldier will win over any fighter if he has a fucking gun, thats obvious. In HTH combat however, my money is on the professional fighter, not the guy with 50 hours total in army combatives.

Edit: Excuse my morning crankiness when I said retarded, but it is obvious that a guy with a weapon will most likely win over any unarmed opponent.
