He's from Canadia. If you're from Canadia, you're 25-50% French by default.
much better sports for that then lolThe personalities hasn't ever been of much interest to me. I watch MMA to see beautiful displays of technique.
There are some fighters I watch for their brutal dominance: Cro Cop, Fedor, Cain, JDS, Stipe, Rory MacThe wordy title says it all: is anyone less and less interested in following particular fighters, but liking the sport more for what it is?
I'm not like this any other sport. If I watch football or basketball, it's probably for a specific team, but for MMA, I'm just getting less interested in following individual careers, and more interested in the sport as a whole.
This doesn't mean I don't have old favorites. I've been watching the sport for more than 10 years now, I'm bound to have a few guys I love to watch fight (and hopefully win), but at this point, I'm more excited for a quality card than one with big names.
I know I'm being redundant. Anyone else in the same boat?
Not if you're looking for diversity there's not. Yes, you can find better specialists, which is why I also watch a shitload of grappling and kickboxing, but there is no sport with a wider range of different martial arts skills than MMA. For obvious reasons. There are plenty of epic displays of skill in MMA, even if not every single fighter is at that level. I watch MMA for displays of greatness, and while there might be some time in between, sometimes it materialises in places you don't expect it to.much better sports for that then lol
