Got to remember they're unlikely to serve the sentences named as well, as Legalese ≠ English, so 'two years' might be one year, or 16 months or something.

I agree. But I feel animal cruelty laws are pretty weak. Dont know if they have some additional penalties for distribution of this garbage but in the age of the internet and social media, I hope they adjust the laws to take this into account. Terrible stuff.
