Tech "intel's f-----"

I did not "moderate" any of your posts. But this is entertaining.
I made a post in this thread that said something like:

lol @ deleting posts in an argument you're losing using your online mod powers.

Sad!

I don't like either of the posters so my post is pretty neutral.

That post disappeared from this thread. I'm not crazy or imagining this. I know what I posted and @rob mafia replied to it with it not being the first or even fifth time this has happened.

I didn't remove any such post. If you dispute this, the two of you are free to bet your accounts on it. I'd ante my modship in kind.

I never said you deleted it.... The post was made and quoted in this thread. Where it went is anyone's guess.

...ok, so are you a wumao who took over his account, or what? recently, it's clear that you hate taiwan and (therefore) promote intel. but the posts are fucking weird and just shit spam. often the spam wasn't even remotely relevant.

but i get it. taiwan bad, intel good. we should just let taiwan get taken by ccp, we'll still have intel!

ffs, you accused me of being a tsmc shareholder. your posts have been the intersection of insane and tarded lately.

Keep trolling on seeing you're paid to dry hump AMD all day. I am not specifically a fan of ether company now. I used to be called an AMD fanboy when it was a .75 cent stock after they hired Lisa to run the company I knew big things where coming. Same thing with Intel new hire because I have a history with this guy an knew how smart an driven he was as an executive. Pat going to change things at Intel.

Keep trolling

yeah, I'M the one trolling. /s

on seeing you're paid to dry hump AMD all day.

citation requested.

and btw, i own zero shares of amd. and zero contracts.

...k, but you're completely evading the point and conveniently forgetting the ridiculous spam posts you've been making. and that you accused me of being a tsm shareholder and now some sort of paid amd shill.

show me where taiwan touched you.

Yeah you have no AMD shares.

literally 0.

still don't know what's your excuse for this shit.

re: moving the posts here... lolz. ok. but most of the context is gone (posts in gaming thread, re: taiwan nonsense and weird copypasta spam of bunch of irrelevant/barely relevant shit, like 4 wheelers)

not that it matters. like 7 people use this subforum.

Have you heard anything about performance. @Madmick how about you?

I'm about to build a new system, wondering if I should hold off for Intel's new CPU gen.

I always go top of the line (pretty much) everythimg outside cards with a new build. I'd replace my 3080 (what I'm getting) in a 5000 series in two years or so. Gives me a good 5 years per system

Thats its slightly better than AMD's current consumer line. Take that with a grain of salt for AMD spewed that same line for years until it came true last year.

Your mistake is trying to understand his thought process behind posting. You, a rational person are going to find it difficult trying to understand the inner workings of a irrational person. I find it hard to believe that he believes some of the things he posts but he just might.

There are some rumors out there making big claims on it's performance, saying it has solidly dethroned Ryzen. But that kind of shit always happens before new cpus/gpus release. My guess is it will maybe be slightly faster than Ryzen chips. You can look up the 'leaked' benches that are out there now, but its kind of a waste of time in my opinion. They won't be as amazing as these leaks suggest. Not knocking intel or anything, that is just how it always is before a release.

Anyways, they should be out within a month or so. Unless you have a pressing need for a new build, might as well wait and see what they come out with.

Intel to invest up to 80 bln euros in boosting EU chip capacity-CEO
When I think of businesses circling the drain, on the cusp of bankruptcy or succumbing to hostile takeovers, the first thing that comes to mind are companies about to spend $95 billion USD on new manufacturing (of which their cash reserves alone could cover ~25%).

I see headlines like that, and I think, "That company is fucked!"

since this thread, they spent like $30B in buybacks and still saw their stock price stagnate while the whole sector flourished. and now they're using their top competitor's fab and begging the govt for handouts...

yeah, they're done just great. /s

It's amazing how someone who pretends to be a financial guru doesn't understand that stock buybacks aren't some Hail Mary of a floundering company to cook the books. Apple spent $19bn in stock buybacks in the most recent fiscal quarter (they totaled $125bn in stock buybacks in 2019 & 2020).

Apple is fucked!!

???

it's funny that you're ignorant enough to even jump to that conclusion (then again... you fucked up revenue vs profit, what buybacks actually do, basic balance sheets, secondary offerings, etc - so i know this is far outside your realm... which makes your insistence to bring this shit up [forbes, lolz!] all the goofier) .

i explicitly stated from the start that intel was pumping fucktons into buybacks that could otherwise be spent on... r&d or... anything else. a short time later, they lost 15% of their moneys while their peers are up ~110% and intel's begging the us govt for subsidies. after dumping so many billions... including $2.5B into buybacks just this year. but i guess they need subsidies now. strange priorities, amirite?

honestly, it's comical that anyone would pretend i was wrong about this, especially after this post.

lolz @ thinking i was against buybacks, though. and not that this was mocking intel's strategy or anything.

well they just paid off microsoft to make amd CPUs take a performance hit in windows 11.. theyre playing dirty now

lets hope linux really takes off with this proton thing. Hopefully nvidia gets their thumbs outta their ass with their linux gpu drivers cause their supply lines are better... especially in europe. if you're gonna go linux, use amd gpus if u can
