The biggest problem isnt the migrants themselves, it's their children. Specifically the Latin migrants whose children are exponentially more susceptible to gang culture than lets say Chinese migrants.

Pick any heavily hispanic area in the entire country and that area will have a gang problem. Graffiti, home invasions, robbery, etc..

Thomas Sowell made a very interesting observation about the children of immigrants in France, that because they grew up there and contrasted how poor they were in relation to everyone else, they had a chip on their shoulders that their parents didn't. I'd say thats the case a lot of the time with immigrants children here. Other than that, immigrants have to work really hard, usually at menial or working class jobs and in my opinion, make the same faustian bargain that the rest of us make, we neglect our kids. I think we beat up our own poor, particularly black people but the constant familial stressors that they've all lived through has just tore an asshole out of that segment of society. Not even necessarily "bad" parenting just parents who are too goddamned beat down from the world to really give a fuck about their kids. I know that was the case wih my ma my childhood. The only thing that made me well behaved were my parents were overbearing and oppressive but they really didn't have anything else to give us, neglectful, abusive and discouraging. Just like they got treated by everyone in their world.
