I mean, we're already there; she's a 35-year old actress. She still looks good but the industry is what it is. Getting married to Depp and taking 10M from him in the divorce settlement was probably the best financial move she ever made, even if it's fucked up.
Depp screwed himself too though. I remember that 10-15 years ago when Depp was interviewed he would talk about the substance abuse issues he had in his youth, how it had almost killed him and how thankful he was that he had managed to get over it. Essentially he would present his drug and alcohol habits as squarely a thing of the past, and put forward a feel-good success story. Fast-forward to now and it's clear thanks to the trials that it's not a thing of the past at all, in fact his problems are much more severe than I would have imagined. It's one thing to vaguely know that an actor partakes, but if you're a production company hiring an actor then you now know for a fact Depp is basically out of his mind half of the time - not really worth the trouble. He's almost 60 too. His career is pretty much over and he wasted the last years of it.
