News I'm watching the Johnny Depp defamation case

Although Heard is getting mangled in this trial, I have very little faith in a good ending for Depp.

If a girl goes on a picture next to you, and looks like that out of her eyes, you know you done right.
Even I can see that guy can attract women. Looks a bit old now though, what is he, 58 ?

people who are Depp fans probably should be really really wary of his relationship with Adam Waldman.

Read the threads about the court case. Its full of Jonny Depp fans making this into good vs evil. Sorry I dont see that. I see an abusive relationship on both sides with a junkie with control problems vs a psychopath. Amber also had a believable witness about Depps behaviour. Yes Depp was victim of abusive behaviour that evidence was very clear no argument but this is no traumatized victim in court. This is a master manipulator in total control even in cross examination acting the hell out of this court case to win public perception with a multimillion dollar laywer team. This was a classic codependent fucked up hollywood marriage.

Regarding if he wins the case. That isnt about him being victim but Amber never having been a victim of him and there he cant proove that . Just before a judge he would loose that argument 100%. But with a jury everything is possible.

I really don't see where that rhetoric is coming from, I would like to. It's an abusive relationship both ways.

Even though amber is the one with multiple incidents of being physical and violent, literally admitting to it on tape. She broke his finger and kicked a door into his head. In audio from both sides she is always the verbally aggressive and abusive one, with jonny usually trying to get away and leave.

On his side, he drinks and gets high a lot. How is that comparable? Where's the evidence of abuse from his side?

Just because he has money doesn't mean and good lawyers doesn't mean all the evidence should be ignored. In fact she's the only one who's been shown to lie and fabricate evidence, multiple times.
 
Is this a civil trial or criminal?

I hear so many people saying "Depp has no chance because he can't prove X" , but I was under the impression his threshold for proof is much lower due to this being a civil trial

To play devil’s advocate for a second what about Heard’s make up artist saying her face was bruised and she has had at least one other witness saying she had swelling on her face and other witnesses saying they saw her bruised around that time.

I don’t see where that would come from?

My sense is that Heard is a naturally more aggressive personality but Depp has a tendency to get drugged so out of his mind he is abusive at times. I wouldn’t be surprised if he head butted her and couldn’t remember, potentially even out of clumsiness.
 
That way I see it they were both Toxic but Amber was definitely the one doing the hitting or instigating it... it doesnt make Johnny Depp a saint his fans are making him out to be.

The problem I have is the attention whore in her ran her mouth for clout and published a VERY one sided story when she was just as bad. She got to fully play the victim and ruin him. She got a very public restraining order that he had no chance of defending himself against because he was in another country. SHADY.

If you are both toxic and know it move the fuck on privately, dont play the victim for attention.

Now that its all aired out shes getting all the labels she put on Depp and cant play the victim. So good for Depp to go there... She caused this and deserves all the negative shit coming to her.

He is no saint but what she did and how she went about things was just wrong and shady.

I haven't seen any compelling evidence that Depp is abusive to anyone other than himself. That could change tomorrow. A video could show him busting up Amber Turds face and I wouldn't be too shocked.

But my point is, I've seen nothing to indicate he's abusive unless drug use is considered abusive to someone else. I'll reserve the right to change my mind should any new evidence paint a different picture. But as of right now, I have no idea how to make the leap that he's abusive toward Turd.

She has been diagnosed with multiple emotional disorders. I coul smack myself in the face and blame my husband.

The make up company she claimed to use to cover up came forward and called her a liar. The make up she claimed to use hadn't even been created when she said she used it.
