Media If You're Not a Fan of Alex Periera at This Point, You Should Be. Here's Another Reason Why.

Can’t compare Alex’s weight cut to Aldo’s you kidding?

And why didn’t Alex stay around MW and fight a contender to rematch Izzy if he really wanted that fight?
Shhhhh we don't talk about that. Izzy owed the guy he just slept that had 0 title defenses an immediate rematch lol

Never said he trained them specifically to do it but if he disciplined them I don’t think they would do that. At his age there is no way I would disrespect someone older than me like that.
Five year olds aren't known for their maturity and discipline. Even if they have strict parents they still act like that every once and a while, is normal.

What, is there a criteria to being a weight bully? It's ok to cut a lot of weight as long as it's within your imaginary weight cutting limit? Come on now, be consistent.
Alex didn't stay at MW because he didn't let the loss get to him and stall his career, he said he was gonna move up anyway after the fight before the match took place, going to LHW was always his plan.

In public they acted like that ... not in private... big difference.

Except he cuts a ton of weight to fight in MW, taught his sons to make fun of his knocked out opponents and then calls Israel to fight him at LHW for the title knowing he’s the bigger guy and that he has an advantage there. We sorry you got knocked out at MW in a division you didn’t belong in. Wanted a rematch? Should have fought some contenders bro.

Then he says “come to daddy”. Bro you just got knocked out last fight tf you talkin about?
Tbh that call out was very respectful, the translator shat the bad that day.
Adesanya was talking about retire, and Alex said he rescued him from being a drunk in the bar, so its his time to rescue adesanya from retirement
And have a 2nd shot at LHW was really a huge opportunity to Izzy

Okay but still.. the optics looked very bad after getting knocked out like that and calling for a fight with Israel at a heavier division.

His son was like 5 years old when he knocked out Izzy. I mean, do you think a 5 year old's brain would work like an adult's after seeing his dad win a fight in an exciting fashion? If you were a 5 year old and you saw your dad do that, you'll be excited, jump for joy, go crazy and do childish stuff like imitating Izzy's fall. He's just a mere a kid :D Kids brains still can't control their emotion and show stuff like sportsmanship on that moment, let alone know what it is about. And for the record, is there any citation, video, or claim that Alex "taught" his sons to make fun of his KO'd opponents? I mean, you can't just say stuff like that. At least show us something.

And when he called out Izzy to move up to LHW, he clarified that it's his way to help Izzy get his motivation back after he said he'll be back on 2027 when he lost to Strickland. He said along the lines that Izzy somehow encouraged him to get his life back 'from the bar' and wanted to give back

Here's the interview with AI translation

And the "Come to daddy?" callout? Sherbro, isn't smack talking part of the fight game?

I'm a fan of his, but I'm a fan that wants him to be tested against skilled, aggressive grappling. If it starts to seem like he's being protected from grapplers, then I will no longer be a fan. I'm doing my best not to allow myself to be influenced by the shittiness of his fans who are pretending he's already passed these tests and answered these questions (usually in the most obnoxious way possible).

yeah he taught them indirectly by not disciplining them.

look at this video where it looks like he's making excuses for his son's behavior based off his body language, stuttering and comments

anyone got a translation for the interview?

nah bro come on..

Poatan has obviously used black magic to bamboozle and flummox the mods.

This.

I don't know why more people aren't picking up on it.
Mods would immediately ban a black magic shaman, but black magic chamans get a free pass.

POA = power over athletes.
Practitioners of that dark art are known as POATANS.

It's so obvious.

Yeah I thought the same of GSP yet he had a ton of haters

Who cares? People are allowed to root for and against whoever they want
The only difference is altho GSP was a great champion and human being, he sometines delivered stinkies of boring fights. Most to the later half of his carreer. Cant say the same about Alex so far.
