You're right, got the order of the fights mixed up.

Still - he's lost twice. He doesn't deserve to fight him even if he wins his next 20 fights by first round knockout
 
If Rob beats Dricus next week then I dont see how Sean doesnt get the shot. Izzy is an active champ and doesnt like waiting.

Rob already got 2 shots at Izzy
Cannonier just lost to Izzy
Vettori got 2 shots at Izzy
Alex moved up

No other MW has done shit really to put in title talks. Brendan is on a good streak but Sean and Curtis both finished him.

No one thought Grasso would beat Valentina, Petr was supposed to murder Sterling, most people thought Figgy was gonna demolish Moreno in their first meeting, Leon Edwards was expected to get grapplefucked by Kamaru...

I'd watch this but I truly hate Sean and would enjoy watching him get permanent brain damage cause he stands no chance at all.

I hear you and I agree. But I am most confident that Sean gets bodied in this fight. I'd literally bet my entire retirement savings if I could.

You are right about every fight except Grasso-Shevchenko. Val had fought like absolute shit against Santos and didn't deserve to win - easily the worst robbery in UFC history. A lot of people thought she was declining and that she wouldn't win another title fight.

Strickland gets put out by Adesanya badly. While he beat Abust his defense to leg kicks and body shots looked like shit. I see Strickland taking that spot if Robert and Dricus go to war next week and Rob can't turn around (most likely he'll win). However, Rob has to win. If Dricus wins then they got to do Adesanya v Du Plesis. Since Strickland likes being a gate keeper he should welcome Khamzat to the division

You know damn well you don’t actually think Strickland poses a snowballs chance in hell against Izzy. If the fight was to be made you know as well as I do it’s an opportunity for Izzy to make him look like he doesn’t belong there.

Leon was on a long ass unbeaten streak and had more concurrent wins in a row than any other contender.

As for Grasso and Aljo I had both of them beating the champ when those matchups were made (albeit nobody could have seen how Aljo was going to actually win that 1st one lol). Valentina didn’t win the Talia fight imo I saw that she was slipping and I felt Grasso would pull the upset.

As for fighters we least suspect beating champs, yes of course that happens but that doesn’t mean it’s logical to throw anyone that manages to string together two unranked wins in a row against the champion lol.
 
I love how the biggest draw of this fight would be the press conferences before the fight. Why? Because Adesanya annihilates Strickland in the cage.
 
Whether it's now or later, Adesnaya will take him out. I don't think he's earned it yet but others haven't either. I'm just happy to see Izzy clean out the division like a real champ. Maybe one day we can look back on his stellar title defence and say Israel beat the #7 and #1 alike.
 
Why would he get a title shot off beating an unranked guy with one UFC fight? Strickland doesn't have a single top 10 win since his 2 fight losing streak. Are you getting paid to make this thread?

Whittaker arguably won the last fight against Izzy. If there isn't another deserving contender he should absolutely get a rematch. Strickland doesn't have a top 10 win since taking 2 Ls. And we all know the fight wouldn't be competitive, you're just saying this because Sean runs his mouth off when interviewed.
