You are right about every fight except Grasso-Shevchenko. Val had fought like absolute shit against Santos and didn't deserve to win - easily the worst robbery in UFC history. A lot of people thought she was declining and that she wouldn't win another title fight.

I see Strickland taking that spot if Robert and Dricus go to war next week and Rob can't turn around (most likely he'll win). However, Rob has to win. You know damn well you don’t actually think Strickland poses a snowballs chance in hell against Izzy. If the fight was to be made you know as well as I do it’s an opportunity for Izzy to make him look like he doesn’t belong there.

Leon was on a long ass unbeaten streak and had more concurrent wins in a row than any other contender.

As for Grasso and Aljo I had both of them beating the champ when those matchups were made (albeit nobody could have seen how Aljo was going to actually win that 1st one lol). Valentina didn’t win the Talia fight imo I saw that she was slipping and I felt Grasso would pull the upset.

As for fighters we least suspect beating champs, yes of course that happens but that doesn’t mean it’s logical to throw anyone that manages to string together two unranked wins in a row against the champion lol.

This is the fight business. It's about selling PPVs. Izzy has fought and beat Rob in decisive fashion and DDP is a fucking mute slab of wood.

If WME isn't out to make the UFC into professional shuffleboard, they should make the Strickland fight. I'm not convinced that they don't want it to be boring though.

Whittaker arguably won the last fight against Izzy. If there isn't another deserving contender he should absolutely get a rematch. Strickland doesn't have a top 10 win since taking 2 Ls. And we all know the fight wouldn't be competitive, you're just saying this because Sean runs his mouth off when interviewed.
