If Ngannou convincingly beats Gane, then Stipe, is he the GOAT?

If Ngannou beats Gane, we'll get Gane was "an overrated hypetrain".
If Ngannou beats Stipe or Jones, they "are washed up, past their primes".
If Ngannou defends once a year because the UFC randomly throws an interim title between the 2 top contenders to save their toyota center deal, it's that he is ducking "insert-name".

And at HW the sherdog goat is a chubby russian judoka who stopped winning at 33, because as you know, 33 is super old for a HW mma fighter.
 
Ngannou and Gane both have a great chance of ending up as the GOAT. Whoever wins this one, takes a big step towards that.

Fedor only had 3 title defences and his record was padded with Japanese cans, freak shows, MW’s and old one dimensional former champs. Suffered 3 devastating losses still in his prime.

Stipe also has only 3 title defences. He’s 1-1 with Ngannou and if he loses a trilogy fight it will be hard to rank him above Ngannou.

Ngannou needs 3-4 defences to be the GOAT. If it’s Gane, Stipe, Jones and young contender like Aspinall after that, it would be impossible to deny him as the HW GOAT.

Gane is still young, undefeated, 10-0 and a interim champion. Beating Ngannou would skyrocket him in HW GOAT rankings. Winning the rematch with Ngannou, then beating Stipe and guys like Aspinall and say Romanov would definitely seal the deal for him.

As far as we know Ngannou, he could also achieve that in 2 minutes. Although unlikely.
Stipe is 39, he will get butchered again, that's just how it works.

Well Ngannou is still quite far from being the GOAT, but not that far from being the HW GOAT.

10 defences is a bit too much though, even GSP has only 9 and he’s considered the GOAT by most

Nope. Stipe proved who the better fighter was. Anyone can get kod at hw. I would’ve been more impressed with franny, if he didn’t need stipe to have 3 fights/wars with dc and eye surgery before he could beat stipe. And while gane looks game, he’s not a big enough name…

You discredit win over Stipe because you think he was old, although he’s a big name.

Then you discredit a potential win over Gane who is definitely in his prime by saying he’s not a big name yet, despite the fact he’s the interim champ.

Conclusion- you’re just biased and anything Ngannou would do wouldn’t impress you. Calling him franny just adds to that

No. Ngannou is not even close to Fedor’s accomplishments. He has a ways to go.
