I would strongly disagree that this is a little protest man. There were apps 10k out the one day. And at night, the destruction and rioting is almost as bad as floyd riots at times. Not quite the high level of anger directed at police that 2020 saw-this seems to be 50/50 with them being big mad at trump for these deportations

As someone who works in the area, you are wrong. This is nothing like the previous BLM protests or even comparable to the riots that occur after a sports parade. This is being way overblown.

you stfu. What did I say in my first post your responded to? I said this wasn’t about deporting immigrants. I’ve been pretty vocally in support of strict immigration control the whole time I’ve been on sherdog.

Are you unable to separate the two things in your mind? Because I see a massive problem with the way ICE is operating now and if the only answer you can come up with is “it’s the will of the people then it lets me know right now you stand on no principle except for power. So if we come back and find you complaining about people losing their jobs over vaccines, I should quote you and tell you to shove it up your ass because “that’s what people voted for” right?

You guys need to get smarter because the shoe can and eventually will be on the other foot.

McConnell's reasoning is that, since the American people had voted in a majority Republican Senate under Obama, any SCOTUS pick he was going to pick was not going to be representing the will of the majority of Americans. Under Trump, you have a Republican Congress AND President. Hate the logic all you want, but don't say the situations were the same. Nobody was "robbed" of a SCOTUS pick.
