It's fine then.I think it’s some Asian or Mexican dude.
There is no such law but most likely he's referring to the flag code which dictates how you should and should not display the flag.Which federal law are you referring to that makes it illegal?
"It's not legal to fly the Mexican flag in place of the American flag or fly it higher"?
Really? Show me the laws, that sounds really silly.
Would it really bother you if someone had the Mexican flag above the US flag? Like, would you go all citizens arrest?
Which federal law are you referring to that makes it illegal?

Funny enough the flag code discourages altering the design in anyway such as the thin blue line version or using it in ads but Americans don't care about those details, just don't fly it upside down or alongside/under another flag.
It's really just a little bit of common sense and critical thought. This shitshow between Dems and Reps affects ME, too.I can only speak for myself so the point I'm making is that its perfectly normal to expect that the people living in the border states that were ceded from Mexico will have a deep cultural and economic attachment to that country. Furthermore, any expectation that border enforcement and mass deportation can severe that longstanding connection is misguided.
Right but the leader of the MAGA movement himself is a criminal who pardoned 1500 of his goons the first day of his presidency. All sides have criminals but within MAGA they're the leaders and take center stage.
Sure but as much as MAGA might feel otherwise winning an election for president doesn't put you above the law.
Oh if only I had heeded the warning of a karate forum poster none of this would've happened
Reality is lots of so called centrists laid out the red carpet for the criminal in chief and helped launder his reputation even while he ratcheted up the tension in the country and ejected all principled conservatives from his party.
Answer my question and stop resorting to whataboutismsDo you mean "support" or "I don't give a fuck", like you don't give a fuck about Biden setting such a ridiculous precedent with his pardons? I would fall under the latter.
Do you agree with Biden(or rather his handlers), introducing the "preemptive pardon" that basically makes any government going forward completely untouchable if they so choose to be?
You think so, huh? What exactly is the left doing to make that happen? Doubling and tripling down on all the unpopular shit that lost them the last election?
I mean, good luck. Until then, cope.
Are you an American? I am going to answer your question, but I am asking because if you are... this is going to be embarrassing for you.
Yes, which law are you referring to? It's a genuine question. And I'm not going to be embarrassed on sherdog my guy.
Are you American? Because if so I'm surprised you're only now just finding out that the Flag Code is non-bindingYou're not an American either?
Under federal law (4 U.S.C. § 7), no foreign flag—including the Mexican flag—may be flown above or in a position of superior prominence to the U.S. flag on U.S. soil during peacetime Specifically, section 7(g) states:
International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace
Additionally, section 7(c) clarifies:
No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence to, or in place of, the flag of the United States
Is Violating the Flag Code Illegal?
No. While the U.S. Flag Code is a federal law, guidelines are only stated within the voluntary and non-binding language such as, "should" and "custom," meaning there is no penalty for violating any of its provisions. This is because of the Supreme Court's act in declaring the law unconstitutional in United States v. Eichman.
Northern Mexico and the Southwest United States are really one geographic, cultural zone split in two by the border.
@Deorum can you confirm?

I honestly thought most Americans knew that foreign flags may not be flown above ours. Also, our flag may not be replaced by a foreign flag. Well... now you know.
Well people like you surely don't make it any easier to deal with corrupt populists when you subject them to a more lenient double standard. It's really just a little bit of common sense and critical thought. This shitshow between Dems and Reps affects ME, too.
I hold Democrats to slightly higher standards than I do Reps, but maybe that's not fair or accurate. How in the hell do you guys keep losing to an obvious con-man? It's one bad decision after another in two things. How you deal with someone like Trump, and how your side conducts itself within office and the policies they put focus on.

Kinda gross but alright. But enough of that rant and back to laughing at morons getting shot in the face with rubber bullets.
