I think these things generally start out as protests, then a bunch of idiots looking to destroy shit and cause mayhem (probably because their life sucks) co-opt it to do just that. The issue is that the people destroying cities, burning cars on fire, looting businesses, etc. are not denounced by prominent leftists. If Obama came out and denounced these protests then the hivemind leftists would get the message that stuff like this is actually unacceptable.

God bless guys like Fetterman that have seemingly escaped the leftist hivemind and can actually think for himself. He sees cars burning, police getting bricks chucked at them, businesses looted, etc. and he can recognize it for what it is. Because if the right wing was doing anything even similar, the same leftists that play this down as "mostly peaceful" would be screeching at the top of their lungs.
