It is. A friend of a friend in Miami's a bit worried. She's Canadian on a Green Card, looks quie hispanic. She has a criminal record stepping into some police fracas with her black boyfriend in LA some years ago. Considering Florida is considering (or already has) lowering the age for overnight school age workes being they've deported so many people employers are understaffed I kind of understand her worry.

They will get to Florida eventually. It’s one of the epicenters for illegals like la and nyc. But they are probably going to wait a while because Florida law enforcement assists and makes arrests when they encounter illegals and it is a red state as well

I don’t love the way they do that as jump out Bois with no uniform or anything. They should have to present id when they approach imo. But I do understand why they try to hide and blend in because especially right now, they’re not too welcome basically anywhere. I remember when I was a young cop and arrested illegals for being here illegally and having to call ice and wait for hours for them to decide if they were coming to pick up the person. They did have to drive an hour to get to us though

Flip side, I live in a small town of 30,000 and our nearest city is Bakersfield 2 hours away. We're not on the ICE/PRoud Boys watch list but someone on a local Facebook group was screaming about how to contact the rapid response team if we see ICE. We don't have a rapid response team for anything let alone that. We're in SoCal but they're not going to target us being if any we have very few illegals. Over the top. She and I got into a bit of a thing and I imagine she blocked me. Talk about mountains and molehills.

well, bellevue isn't anything like seattle, they would never allow anything like the turned over cars, they'd call in help if they had to. I think they had some scattered incidents but they pretty much stopped it by closing the city off, bellevue has always been closed off in a million ways and that includes the police stopping cars right at the bridge to come over.

there's some anti-illegal, Victor Davis-Hanson who claims to live in some small town that's been ruined by illegals in cali, are you sure the hate isn't out in the boonies too? In fact, that's where I personally get the most uncomfortable and it's in one of the small, poor towns that a white lady asked "where are you from" and "originally?" when I said Seattle. Gotta kill the Karens with kindness though.
