I've done 120kg on GM for 6 (or 8, I forget) reps before and I have pb'd at 132.5 for 5 cycling up on zdl and negatives on 180, so my body is used to the punishment.


As you can see I'm stepping it up slowly, hence the higher volume and noticable lack of MT at present

No problems. When are you getting back to MT? I've tried to keep up with your log but around the holidays I lost track of it.
 
My original log was lost so I had to start this one. They did a clean of anything over 3 years old which was a shame because i had that log from the very first day of my lifting. That would have shown the progression in the early days (and being a student it was quite active).

I did some thai this week but I'm trying to add it in slowly because to be honest I hate am training and I've started that now off my own back, so I'm giving it 3 weeks to get used to it, then I'll add the thai (and the slow addition should help prevent over training).

Cardio

Got home from work and went for a fast run.
Not sure what was going on. Lungs were on fire and had to stop more (but increased distance).
I 'think' I was running faster, hence the burning lungs. Not sure

I felt good though

Got there late and fucking rude boy wannabes on the smith machine (one of the fucking imbeciles was actually doing curls and in between shadow boxing was massive looping shots, he was like 6 ft from me in the rack...I could have killed)

Cardio/recovery

45 min on the rower. It was supposed to be slow and sedate, but when a decent song came on (I was listening to snow patrol, so sue me) I ending up closing my eyes and going for it (who knows why).

Had about 4 1/2 hours sleep. Woke up at 2.30, lay there trying to go back to sleep till about 5/45, slept till 6.55 when alarm went off. Annoying

Went to lift but gym shut (I did know but forgot). So went for a short run back and did 3 sets of 45 press ups and some leg raises.

Then had a large breakfast which included the yolks of 3 raw eggs into my morning shake (which made it surprisingly nice). The yolks became a omlette on the skillet of the george foreman and I had some pitta bread and 2 bits of bacon


pm- went to the gym to help chris train

Got there late so beasted the shadow boxing for 4 rounds, then 1 round tit for tat on the hands.

Held for chris for 5 conditioning rounds and fucked off home to sleep
 
Don't know mate, it won't be until August/sept time

Its all dependant on the money and if the bird will let me crash at hers (and if other things work through).

We'll see

Is there training on in hutton at the moment or are exams meaning you've been moved to.....where ever that other room is by the main reception
 
Exams ended last week and today is first day of Semester B so the chairs SHOULD be cleared out.

Did you see at De Hav all the people taking exams where the badminton courts are, there must have been like 1000+ people in there it was crazy.
 
Missed that, saw them getting ready over the last few days.
