I will start to respect Conor when......

Conor will become a two weight champion in the UFC. He will beat Nate Diaz and then he'll fight dos Anjos or Robbie Lawler on UFC 200.

Am I confused who pulled out of the rematch for the 145 belt or something? Maybe you don't understand that it takes two for a title defense.

I'll have respect if some contracted contender for his belt(s) actually follow through and enter the Octagon to fight him for it/ them! Until then I have NO RESPECT for his 145 competition!

Yeah OK. Like fighting little Frankie is more challenging than trying to fight RDA. Also, he would clock Frankie good.

I would also gain some respect for him if he vacates the belt but he needs to vacate it before UFC 200 if he doesn't plan on defending it that night.

He doesn't "need" to do shit.

No one really cares when you will start or won't start to respect him.

Just keep making more and more threads about him, he will keep winning and the UFC will keep making money off your traffic :D

He mans up and defends his featherweight title like a true champion. I will start to respect him when he does that whether he wins or loses. If he does win than I will gain even more respect for him if he defends it a 2nd time because I feel that he needs to be fighting Aldo a second time and he needs to give Edgar the shot he's earned. If he doesn't fight one of these guys at UFC 200 it's gonna be hard for me to respect him as a fighter or a champion.
I'm sure he is tossing and turning at night worrying about it .

I respect him the fact that he won the fucking thing in the first place.
This. Can't stand the guy, he's arrogant and thinks far too highly of himself. But by now only a blind hater doesn't respect his production in the Octagon.

Good thing no one gives a shit about your respect...

So you don't respect any champion until he defends it against someone?

So a champion instantly goes up to challenge the champion of the stacked weight class above but you won't respect him unless he stays at FW.

That does sound kind of dumb, doesn't it.

1st off i don't think he cares much about the opinion of some untrained bum on the internet, 2nd i hope he vacates the belt, he should never cut that much again it would be very bad for his health.

I'll respect him when he mans up and stops ducking me.

Well if I was a fighter I would want to be respected by my team, my opponents, promoters, and the fans. I would aspire to gain the respect of all of the above.
You can't please everyone.

conor is one of the best mma fighters in the world. and he needs to earn your respect. lol.

"Man up" huh? He literally just won the belt a few months ago. In 13 seconds. Against one of the best p4p fighters. Then he challenged the defending champion in the weight class above.

Get out of here with that BS. You don't even have to be a fan of Conor to respect what he's done. The guy is legit.

If the man really is 185 at the moment, I can't see him ever wanting to cut down to an emaciated 145 again.
