I think Conor’s fans are the most loyal ever...

He's got some die hard s for sure but that flock thinned the fuck out after the floyd fight.
That’s more to do with him appearing to be retired than anything else. If he has a fight booked you’ll see more of us again.

P.S. the reason Conor fans appear so dogged is because he is good and exciting as a fighter, but his most ardent haters are absolutely relentless. That means that you’ll see people readily defending Conor often. It also means that the trolls (Conor fans and otherwise) are guaranteed plenty of bites when they say something outrageous about him.

Didn't you have that cool funny guy in your class at school? He's that guy. They always have little followers sucking at the teat and people who despise him.
Sort of. I mean he’s a professional entertainer and he’s entertaining. Not sure I’d cast that as ‘sucking at the teat’. Makes it seem weird.

Too funny...... "isn't he fkn awesome".

Even tho im a fan, i dont see him fighting Khabib. Conor is all about minimalizing the risk while maximizing the rewards. A TKO loss to Khabib would hurt his stock immensely.

Hahaha just a little insult added

That's funny because most of his fans here went dark after he lost to Nate.

That Jin guy and many others didn't want to face the music.

If your a fan then you support your guy/team.

What are you talking about? @Jin Akutsu literally made a sound file directly after the fight giving props to Diaz.

He was a little quieter than before but he didn’t disappear. Jin’s one of the staunchest. @Soul On Ice , @FrontNakedChoke @Dr Hannibal Lecter and others went nowhere either.

Edit: forgot @Sjb1888 , one of the OG’s. And @ocfightfan is one of my favourites too.

In the sport of MMA! They believed in him after his embarrassing loss to Nate and thought he held his own in the Floyd fight. What makes these people so addicted to him, I just don’t understand?

Its like a cult. I've been referring to them as McGregorites since around 2015.

You don't have to be addicted to stick with someone or something. You do have to keep believing in it though. And an embarrassing loss doesn't change much about the reasons I am a fan of Conor, or any fighter I am a fan of, for that matter. I am also a big fan of Overeem and he has had a whole lot of embarrassing losses. Fighters lose, it's part of the game. But both Conor and Reem have had great attitudes in coming back from losses That is character and part of the reason I am a fan.

Diaz has a great attitude about losing too. He actually goes into a fight expecting to lose so he can't be disappointed and can only go up from there. That made me a fan of him too.

I'm not sure if these are Conor hate or love threads anymore. Conor got em all bipolar.
What a time to be alive ...

At that stage of his Career he was very active and litterally would fight anyone, anywhere.

He fought mendes, Aldo and was booked to fight RDA all in then space of 6/7 months.

He took Nate on short notice, when he could of waited for The Title shot when RDA pulled out. He couldn't even make 170lbs at his biggest coming in about 3 pounds under, fighting Nate who was probably 185-190lbs so was giving up around 20lbs on fight night.

He also rematched him at the same weight, when he could of asked for the rematch to be at 155lbs which would of even the odds significantly. A second loss against Nate Would of been a massive blow. He wasn't scared to take risks, was an exciting fighter and backed up his words.

He made UFC entertaining again. Brought a lot of new fans over. Then challeged one of the all time greats to a fight he has never competed in professionally and held his own.

I was, am and will always be a fan of Conor. My only issue now is that he isn't fighting. UFC isn't as exciting without him and anyone who says otherwise is talking shit. Whether you love or hate him, when he is due to fight even these sherdog boards go crazy.

There seem to be more haters than fans on these boards but in real life his fans out number his haters 100/1.

I think it shows the insecurity of alot off guys on here that they have to hate on anyone succesful. Personally i find inspiration in charismatic, succesful, Talented people and am not insecure in myself so i can acknowledge that.

People hate things they see as a threat, or people they are jealous of.

I watch UFC to be entertained and Conor ia definately entertaining. I just hope he books a fight soon. So we can actually see him fight

i think youre confusing loyal with delusional and i thought Penn fans were bad back in the day lol

Really he just annoys the shit out of me, always has, dont care for shit talkers.... Fedor never had to say 2 words for everyone to know he brought the thunder lol....I do concur Conor was interesting in the beginning but everything has clearly gone straight to his head and hes kind of completely fucked up the dynamic of getting a title shot
